June 26–28, KINTEX
Opening New Sales Channels in the Domestic Market

The 2024 International Photonics Convergence Expo (LED&OLED EXO), Korea's premier specialized trade exhibition in the photonics convergence industry, will be held for the 22nd time this year at KINTEX in Ilsan for three days, from June 26 to 28. During the exhibition, the 'Photonics Convergence Industry Forum,' featuring leading experts in the photonics convergence field, will be held concurrently.
At this exhibition, a 'Photonics Convergence Innovation Technology Procurement Consultation Session' will be held together with the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership, involving some 50 domestic large corporations and public institutions, to help participating companies open new sales channels in the domestic market. Now in its fourth year, this consultation session invites major domestic corporations in the photonics convergence field. Over the past three years, it has served as a forum for communication among participating companies, large corporations, and public institutions, supporting technological cooperation, development, and product procurement for small and medium-sized enterprises in the photonics convergence industry, thereby contributing to the revitalization of technology exchange and collaboration between large and small businesses.
In addition, government awards for outstanding new-technology companies (with the Presidential Award as the highest honor) will be presented to boost the morale of companies that have contributed to the development of the photonics convergence industry through technology development and enhanced competitiveness in the domestic photonics convergence sector. This awards ceremony is an event of the highest prestige in the photonics convergence field. It began in 2008 with the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award, and in 2014 was elevated to include the Presidential Award. Furthermore, commendations from the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy will be presented to individuals and organizations that have rendered distinguished service to the photonics convergence industry.
This exhibition will be attended by cooperative organizations and research institutions representing the photonics convergence industry, including the Korea Association for Photonics Industry Development, the Korea Lighting Industry Cooperative, the Korea Smart Cooperative, the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), the Korea Photonics Technology Institute, and the Cheorwon Plasma Research Institute. As a comprehensive event bringing together industry, academia, and research, it is expected to serve as a forum for communication where visitors can encounter the latest technologies of Korean companies, the R&D plans of research institutions, and the corporate support plans of cooperative organizations.
