IMSAK's Cordless Blower Named a Danawa Hit Brand
The blower series from IMSAK Co., Ltd., Korea's only company specializing in cordless tools, has been named a Hit Brand by 'Danawa,' the online price-comparison site. Backed by powerful performance, convenience, and compatibility with existing tools, IMSAK's blower series has recently gained popularity as a highly versatile tool for campers as well as for clearing fallen leaves and snow and tidying up gardens.
IMSAK stated, "We are working tirelessly to provide customized solutions in line with the diversification of worksites and users' varied needs and trends," adding, "Being selected as a Danawa Hit Brand has promoted us to online-market consumers through numerous events and benefits, and our large blower—which delivers powerful airflow and, through its Dual Volt Battery, can be used across both the 36V and 18V voltage ranges—has been well received." Based on a marketing strategy that puts the customer first, IMSAK plans to continue launching new products applying its own purely domestic technology throughout 2023.

Bosch Power Tools Launches Two Professional Cordless Impact/Drill Drivers
Bosch's Power Tools division has launched two professional cordless tools designed for safe and precise work: the 'GSR 18V-90 C Professional' cordless drill driver and the 'GSB 18V-90 C Professional' cordless impact drill driver.
Both new products are equipped with powerful brushless motors that deliver top-class performance—up to 64Nm of maximum torque and rotation speeds of 2,100rpm—for efficient work. Their compact head design and light weight also make them convenient to use. In particular, their excellent tool control protects both the user's health and the tool while enhancing the precision of the work. The 'Kickback Control' function, which can be switched on or off depending on the situation, causes the tool to stop on its own to prevent safety accidents if the tool catches on the material and a sudden overload produces recoil. The 'Precision Clutch' function, which can likewise be switched on or off, stops operation once a preset torque is reached, protecting the surface of the material and reducing product wear and noise. A 20-step torque setting function also enables precise screwdriving work. In addition, a sturdy 13mm metal chuck improves durability, allowing powerful torque to be delivered in all applications. Bosch's exclusive connectivity function links with a smartphone to enable useful work settings, improving work productivity and efficiency.
Both products are suitable for drilling wood up to 68mm in diameter and steel up to 13mm in diameter; the GSB 18V-90 C Professional can additionally drill masonry. Another advantage is that both are compatible with all Bosch Professional 18V batteries and chargers. The products come in two versions—kit and bare tool. The bare tool consists of the main unit, a paper case, a belt clip, and a bit holder, while the kit adds two 18V 5.0Ah batteries, one charger (GAL 18V-40), and one L-Boxx 136 tool case to the bare-tool configuration.
Meanwhile, to mark the launch of the new products, Bosch is running a 'New Product Purchase Event' throughout the year. Until December 31, customers who purchase a Bosch Professional cordless tool (kit or bare tool) or a corded tool from among this year's new products and register their receipt on the Bosch membership website within two weeks will receive a 10,000-won GS Caltex fuel gift voucher. There is no limit on the number of times customers can participate, and measuring tools, accessories, hand tools, chargers, and batteries are excluded from the event.

Festool Launches the Cordless 'CTLC MIDI I Cordless Mobile Dust Extractor'
Festool Korea, a premium power tool company whose products are designed and manufactured with German engineering technology, launched the CTLC MIDI I cordless mobile dust extractor—which delivers a high-quality dust extraction system on battery power—this past January. Offering a high-quality dust extraction solution optimized for cordless tools, the CTLC MIDI I has been transformed into a cordless product from Festool's equivalent corded model, the CTL MIDI I, with no drop in performance, enabling comfortable dust extraction along with outstanding portability free of tangled cords.
The CTLC MIDI I is a cordless dust extraction product that delivers the same extraction performance as its corded counterpart, the CTL MIDI I, meeting the European dust class L standard (dust concentration >1mg/㎥). Its powerful 36V turbine, running on two 18V batteries, enables dust extraction with performance on par with the corded product. Its endurance is also excellent: when operating with two fully charged 5.2Ah 18V batteries, it delivers enough output to perform dust extraction without delay on roughly 19 pyeong of flooring work along with about 100 miter-saw cuts. If batteries are swapped out during use, it can effectively provide comfortable, convenient dust extraction all day long.
It also inherits all the advantages of the equivalent CTL MIDI I. The benefits of automatic dust extraction via Bluetooth connection with Festool 18V cordless tools, an external filter replacement function, manual cleaning of the dust bag, and flexible extraction hoses are all carried over intact.
A Festool representative said, "We hope that workers at a wide range of sites will experience the standard of high-quality cordless dust extraction—one that protects workers' health and ensures customer satisfaction at interior worksites through dust-free work—with Festool 18V cordless tools and the CTLC MIDI I."
By visiting the website of premium power tool company Festool Korea (www.festool.co.kr) or by searching for 'Festool' on KakaoTalk Plus Friend and adding it as a friend, customers can receive news about the various events and new products that Festool Korea is running. Stanley Launches the '1800W Thickness Planer' with Powerful Performance and Ease of Use
'Stanley,' the power tool and hand tool brand of Stanley Black & Decker Korea, has launched the '1800W Thickness Planer (STP18),' which combines powerful performance with worker-tailored adjustment functions. Equipped with an 1800W motor, the product can easily handle thick, hard wood, delivering excellent performance with a no-load speed of 10,000rpm and a fast planing speed of 7.9mpm. It also features a maximum cutting depth of up to 3.2mm per pass and a maximum workpiece size of 152mm in height and 318mm in width, allowing wide and tall pieces of wood to be planed quickly and stably.
It also offers enhanced ease of use for the operator. At a relatively light 27kg compared with similar products, it is easy to move between work areas. In addition to height adjustment on top of the product, fine height adjustment is possible in both millimeters (mm) and inches, supporting an optimal work environment tailored to the user, and a turret depth stop makes repeated work at the same height convenient. Furthermore, an accessory space for blade replacement and product assembly is provided on top of the product.
As a product used in tough worksites, it is not only durable but also allows for self-maintenance, giving it a long service life. Because planer blades tend to dull easily, high-speed steel blades that can be sharpened and reused come as standard, and blade replacement is also easy. A function that reduces internal vibration during operation lessens the operator's physical fatigue and improves the quality of the cut surface. Hand tools attached to the top of the product enable quick blade replacement and maintenance.
Hong Sung-wan, CEO of Stanley Black & Decker Korea, added, "This new product, which considers not only powerful performance but also the operator's ease of use, is a highly convenient product that can be used widely—from professional site workers to general users who enjoy high-level woodworking," and said, "Going forward, Stanley will continue to build positive brand experiences for customers with versatile products and satisfying performance."
