Overall Recommendation Index score of 68.4, an unrivaled No. 1 in the home boiler category

Eco-friendly boiler products combine the latest IT technology with heating and hot water

Kiturami Co., Ltd. (CEO Choi Jae-beom) announced that Kiturami Boiler was named No. 1 in the home boiler category for the seventh consecutive year in the '2023 Brands Consumers Most Recommend' survey conducted by the Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC).

The Korea Brand Recommendation Index (KBRI) is a survey that quantifies overall brand interest and willingness to recommend by combining a 'Customer Index,' which asks about consumers' intention to recommend a brand, with a 'Social Index,' which tallies positive and negative trends in social data from SNS, online communities and the like. Each year it selects the top brand in each industry group, covering some 200 brands across a total of 50 domestic industry groups.

Kiturami Boiler earned an Overall Recommendation Index score of 68.4, opening a wide gap over the second-place (56.6) and third-place (40.4) brands, and once again claimed the position of unrivaled No. 1 brand in the home boiler category this year.

Having led the innovation of Korea's heating culture, Kiturami is at the forefront of enhancing the quality and functionality of eco-friendly boiler products in step with increasingly diverse customer needs.

While strengthening its traditional capabilities of heating and hot water supply, the company is also incorporating the latest IT technology to introduce a variety of convenience features, taking on the character of a smart home appliance.

Kiturami's flagship eco-friendly boiler product, the 'Georo NEW Condensing L10 Gas Boiler,' has further improved hot water quality over previous models through a 'Smart Hot Water Function' that leverages artificial intelligence (AI) and big data systems.

The AI independently learns the user's hot water usage patterns by time of day, then preheats the heat exchanger before the anticipated time of use to supply hot water quickly.

In addition, it is fitted with a premium Internet of Things (IoT) indoor thermostat, allowing users to check the boiler's status and control its operating functions anytime, anywhere via smartphone.

With the home boiler industry having entered a maturity phase as a market of some 1.3 million units per year, Kiturami continues to secure new growth engines by expanding its product lineup to span a wide range of fields including heating, cooling and air conditioning.

The company is successively launching products that are increasing customer touchpoints and rising to become new mainstay offerings, including ▲the '3rd Generation Carbon Mat Ondol,' which has established a firm foothold in the premium heating mat market; ▲the 'Ventilation Plus Air Purification System,' which achieves air purification and indoor ventilation simultaneously; and ▲the '2023 Kiturami Window-Type Air Conditioner,' which boosts cooling efficiency and performance while reducing operating noise.

A Kiturami official said, "The driving force behind Kiturami Boiler being ranked among the brands consumers most recommend lies in our relentless efforts to advance quality and service, and in our boldness in not fearing change," adding, "Going forward, we plan to meet consumers' diverse needs through product quality upgrades that respond to market trends and through diversification of our business areas."
