Kyungdong Navien has won three WINNER awards at Germany's 'iF Design Award 2026' for its 'Sleep Mat All-Season Air/Pro' and for the new UI of its heating and cooling 'Thermostat.'

The 'iF Design Award' is one of the world's three most prestigious design competitions, evaluating the completeness and innovation of design across nine categories, including product design and user interface (UI). Since its first win in 2011, Kyungdong Navien has earned a total of eight WINNER awards over six different years through this year. The 'Sleep Mat All-Season Air/Pro,' which won a WINNER award in the product design category, provides a comfortable temperature for restful sleep year-round through its 'COOL/COOL+ Mode' and 'WARM Mode.' Taking into account the nature of a product designed to aid restful sleep, Kyungdong Navien achieved a design that is simple to operate while harmonizing with the bedroom space, earning the honor of the award in recognition of this. The Sleep Hub (main unit) can be operated with just a light touch, and its 'Hidden Display,' which only appears on screen when in use, minimizes sleep disruption caused by unnecessary light. In addition, its ripple-pattern design expresses the product's identity of providing restful sleep based on 'water.'

The 'Thermostat,' which won a WINNER award in the user interface (UI) category, is an integrated heating and cooling temperature controller set to launch in the North American market. With 'easy and clear operation' as its core principle, Kyungdong Navien designed the UI while considering even the user's emotions and everyday experiences. By lowering information density and systematically organizing the size, color, and contrast of visual elements, it guides a natural flow of the eyes, and it enhances ease of use so that anyone can operate it intuitively. It also delivers an experience optimized for the user through automation features that support energy saving, weather-based motion, a standby screen with user-customized images, and dark and light themes.
