North America’s largest flooring exhibition, “Efforts to strengthen the status of K-Interior”

Digital printing technology and biophilic design products win acclaim

‘Homecc Interior,’ the interior specialty brand of KCC Glass (CEO Chung Mong-ik), announced that it successfully concluded its exhibition at ‘TISE 2025 (The International Surface Event 2025),’ North America’s largest flooring exhibition, held in Las Vegas, USA, from January 28 to 30 (local time).

TISE is a world-class international flooring exhibition visited by some 60,000 people each year. This year, around 700 brands from across the globe took part to share their latest technologies and products. Homecc Interior, participating for the fourth time this year, drew attention at the exhibition by showcasing its eco-friendly production technology and design capabilities. In particular, its LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile) products, which combine KCC Glass’s ‘Digital Printing’ technology with ‘Biophilic Design,’ received high praise from industry professionals around the world.

Digital printing technology is a printing method that uses inkjet to render the patterns of natural materials such as wood and stone in a more detailed and realistic way. It boasts three times higher resolution than the conventional ‘Gravure Printing’ method, and the size of the repeating unit pattern can be enlarged more than twofold, enabling designs that are visually more lifelike. In addition, digital printing technology allows for diverse and original designs that reflect customer needs through small-batch production of many varieties, and it is also superior in eco-friendliness compared to conventional printing methods thanks to the use of KCC Glass’s in-house-developed eco-friendly UV ink and a simplified process that minimizes resource and energy consumption. Biophilic design involves harmoniously incorporating natural elements into indoor spaces, and it is a design trend that has recently been drawing attention in the global interior market. Following its first showcase of biophilic design products at last year’s exhibition, Homecc Interior this year exhibited 100 LVT products featuring even more advanced biophilic design, earning an enthusiastic response from visitors.

Building on its digital printing technology and biophilic design, Homecc Interior plans to present a ‘one-stop solution’ that delivers the entire process—from consultation to production—tailored to the customer in a single package, and to strengthen its competitiveness in overseas markets such as North America and Europe.

In addition, Homecc Interior drew attention by introducing ‘4Re,’ KCC Glass’s eco-friendly flooring production technology developed to respond to climate change. Representing the core keywords of Recycle, Reuse, Replacement, and Reduce, 4Re refers to technologies such as reprocessing, recycling, the use of biomass raw materials, and carbon dioxide reduction.

A KCC Glass official said, “Through TISE 2025, we once again confirmed Homecc Interior’s eco-friendly flooring production technology and product competitiveness,” adding, “Based on advanced technologies such as digital printing and biophilic design, along with outstanding design, we will further strengthen the status of K-Interior in the overseas flooring market.”
