Asia's Largest Home Appliance Expo
Participation in AWE 2025

LG Electronics took part in ‘AWE (Appliance & Electronics World Expo) 2025,’ held from March 20 to 23 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in Shanghai, China.
AWE is Asia's largest home appliance expo, drawing around 1,000 exhibitors and more than 360,000 visitors, and it is regarded as one of the world's three major home appliance and electronics expos alongside CES in the United States and IFA in Germany.
At this year's AWE, LG Electronics set up a 1,104㎡ exhibition hall under the theme ‘LG Electronics' Affectionate Intelligence (AI) for Diverse Lifestyles’ to present its AI Home solutions. The company offers customized proposals for AI appliances and IoT technologies tailored to the diverse lifestyles of Asian customers, and introduces ‘AI Core Tech,’ which adds AI to its core component technologies.
LG Electronics brought to life the Affectionate Intelligence–based AI Home, which begins in earnest this year, at this exhibition. In the highlight zone set up at the entrance of the booth, the AI Home hub ‘LG ThinQ ON’ and sensors installed throughout the home detect the customer's words, actions, and environment, converse with the customer, and control connected appliances and IoT devices. Also on display in an easy-to-understand way—captivating visitors—are ‘ThinQ UP,’ which uses the AI Home platform LG ThinQ to build appliances tailored to the individual; ‘ThinQ Care,’ which lets users easily check and manage the status of products, such as malfunctions or signs of abnormalities; and a vision of the future of the AI Home. A space introducing AI Core Tech in an accessible way was also prepared. AI Core Tech applies AI to the core component technologies—such as motors and compressors—that LG Electronics has built up over decades, boosting both product performance and energy efficiency.
Ryu Jae-cheol, President and Head of LG Electronics' Home Appliance Solution (HS) Company, said, “We will introduce LG Electronics' innovative products and technological capabilities to Asian customers to solidify our position as a global premium home appliance brand.”
