Built to help consumers more easily understand optimal HVAC solutions ranging from residential to commercial applications

LG Electronics has opened a virtual showroom dedicated to system air conditioners for global customers. LG Electronics created this virtual showroom so that customers can more easily understand the optimal HVAC solution suited to their desired space, from residential to commercial settings.

Customers who visit the LG Electronics System Air Conditioner Virtual Showroom (hvac-virtual-experience.lg.com) can experience products and solutions optimized for a variety of spaces, including apartments, detached houses, standard offices, high-rise office buildings, commercial stores, and hotels. Once a customer selects their desired space, they can explore high-efficiency, customized total HVAC solutions in a three-dimensional virtual environment—ranging from system air conditioners, air purifiers, and ventilation systems to solar power generation and ESS (Energy Storage System).

In particular, LG Electronics built the virtual showroom so that visitors can view detailed 3D graphics of the airflow of various HVAC products, as well as the structure and operating principles of the piping installed inside walls and ceilings. Customers can view a screen optimized for the device they use to connect, such as a PC or mobile device, and by selecting a desired product, they can immediately check detailed information about that model.

LG Electronics is strengthening its push into the global HVAC market with high-efficiency, customized solutions optimized for a variety of spaces.

Its residential HVAC solutions include: △‘Multi V S,’ which can connect up to 16 indoor units to a single outdoor unit; △the ‘1-way residential system air conditioner,’ which provides optimal cooling for residential spaces with high energy efficiency; and △‘Therma V,’ an air-to-water heat pump (AWHP) that delivers heating using thermal energy drawn from outside air.

‘Multi V S,’ the flagship product among small- and mid-capacity system air conditioners, is a residential product that can connect up to 16 indoor units to a single outdoor unit, enabling smooth cooling and heating even in large residential spaces. It is highly popular because consumers can choose and install the indoor unit type they prefer among wall-mounted, cassette, and duct types.

For office HVAC solutions, the company displays a range of products, including: △the ‘Dual Vane System Air Conditioner,’ which adds four transparent Air Guards to the four vanes that control the airflow of conventional ceiling-type indoor units to deliver space-tailored airflow; and △a built-in ventilation system that manages air quality in offices where windows are difficult to open, using features such as an embedded carbon dioxide sensor.

The ‘Dual Vane System Air Conditioner’ is the industry’s first product to earn ‘UL GREENGUARD,’ an indoor air quality safety certification, and it boasts outstanding air purification performance to effectively manage indoor air quality. It received CAC certification from the Korea Air Cleaning Association confirming that it can clean the air in a space of up to 150.9㎡, and it is equipped with a PM1.0 sensor that detects even ultrafine dust in real time. Notably, it is the first ceiling-type system air conditioner in Korea to feature Air Guards, realizing six space-tailored airflow patterns. In addition to the four vanes that control the airflow of conventional ceiling-type indoor units, four transparent Air Guards are added inside the product, allowing the wind direction to be controlled even more precisely. This technology has received NET certification, which the Korea Industrial Technology Association grants to outstanding new technologies.

For commercial facilities such as stores and hotels, the company proposes customized HVAC solutions including: △the high-efficiency system air conditioner ‘Multi V 5’; and △the ‘Hydro Kit,’ which uses the heat generated when the outdoor unit operates to supply hot water or provide heating. ‘Multi V,’ the flagship product among large-capacity system air conditioners, is standing out in the commercial HVAC market by combining high performance and energy efficiency thanks to its proprietary high-efficiency inverter compressor.

Lee Jae-sung, Executive Vice President and Head of the Air Solution Business Division at LG Electronics’ H&A Company, said, “We will create various opportunities, such as this virtual showroom, so that more customers can fully experience the differentiated value unique to LG system air conditioners.”
