Sole company in the industry chosen for the Ministry of Employment and Labor's SME workforce support program

Construction workforce training facility, ‘LX Z:IN Interior Academy’

‘LX Z:IN Interior Academy,’ LX Hausys' education and training institution for interior construction workers, has been selected as an operating organization for the ‘Large-Mid-Small Win-Win Academy’ designated by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.

The ‘Large-Mid-Small Win-Win Academy’ is a program overseen by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Human Resources Development Service of Korea, in which large corporations provide excellent mid- to long-term education and training programs to employees of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to help improve their job competencies. It is a newly launched system beginning this year.

This year, following a rigorous evaluation of 134 companies that operate industry-tailored joint training centers under the National Human Resources Development Consortium, eight companies including LX Hausys were selected as operating organizations for the ‘Large-Mid-Small Win-Win Academy.’ LX Hausys received high scores across all evaluation categories—including its education programs for improving the job competencies of SME workers and the adequacy of its facilities and equipment—making it the only domestic interior company chosen this time as an operating organization for the ‘Large-Mid-Small Win-Win Academy.’ In 2021, LX Hausys opened the ‘LX Z:IN Interior Academy,’ the industry's largest interior construction workforce training facility, and has since been training approximately 2,000 construction specialists per year. Outstanding trainees are also connected with construction partner companies for employment. Starting this August, LX Hausys plans to fully operate its ‘Large-Mid-Small Win-Win Academy – Interior Construction Workforce Training Course’ program. As the course is funded by the government, participants can receive the training free of charge without paying any separate fees, and anyone interested in interior construction is eligible to apply.

An LX Hausys official said, “Through the operation of the Large-Mid-Small Win-Win Academy program, we expect to ease the difficulties of small and mid-sized construction partner companies that are struggling to secure skilled construction workers,” adding, “Going forward, by providing more systematic education, we will further contribute not only to improving the job competencies of workers at small and mid-sized construction partner companies but also to the development of the domestic interior industry.”
