LX Z:IN Interior ZIN Square Gangnam Branch — the latest interior trends proposed by designers

Collaborating with outside interior designers every season

LX Hausys has newly renovated the ‘Designer’s Trend Cube’ at its LX Z:IN Interior ZIN Square Gangnam branch, located on the furniture street in Nonhyeon-dong, Seoul.

LX Hausys presents the ‘Designer’s Trend Cube,’ a space that offers fresh interior ideas to customers visiting the ZIN Square Gangnam branch. Each season, it collaborates with outside interior designers to present new spatial trends.

This renewal incorporates the three space design themes that LX Hausys proposed at the recent ‘2021/22 Design Trend Seminar’ — ‘HOME CAMP,’ ‘PENT-HAUS,’ and ‘GRANNY’S COTTAGE’ — with interior design firms INTG, SnowAide, and marmelo taking part.

▲ HOME CAMP is a theme that captures the spatial imagination needed to turn the tedious hours spent in a confined space into something fun and pleasant in one’s own way. Cho Yun-kyung and Song Seung-won, the principals of INTG, focused on a lifestyle that uses a single space in a variety of ways, employing partitions and the orientation of furniture so that the mood and utility change within the same space depending on the perspective from which one dwells in it. ▲ PENT-HAUS is a theme that concentrates on the material qualities of stone, wood, metal and other materials to create the atmosphere of a select shop or gallery. Kim Hyun-joo, the director of SnowAide, captured a premium lifestyle in a relaxed mood under the themes of voluntary isolation and private time for safety and contemplation. ▲ GRANNY’S COTTAGE is a theme imbued with an analog sensibility, created for a generation that feels disillusioned with hectic daily life and longs, almost dreamily, for a leisurely life in the countryside. Lee Kyung-hee, the principal of marmelo, sought to bring vitality to a monotonous daily life with a living room space styled like the suite of a hotel in a travel destination, using furniture and lighting fittingly infused with design elements.

An LX Hausys official said, “Since launching Korea’s first design trend seminar by a domestic company back in 2000, LX Hausys has been expanding its design influence not only across the domestic architecture and interior sectors but throughout the industry as a whole,” adding, “Through the ‘Designer’s Trend Cube,’ which is renewed each season, ZIN Square will be reborn as a customer-centered space where visitors can always encounter the latest interior trends.” 02-6910-9200
