Participates in ‘TISE 2024,’ North America’s Largest Flooring Trade Show

Unveils New LVT Flooring Products Tailored to the Local Market

LX Hausys participated in ‘TISE (The International Surface Event) 2024,’ North America’s largest flooring trade show, taking an active stance in its push into the North American flooring market.

LX Hausys took part in ‘TISE 2024,’ held from February 24 to 26 in Las Vegas, USA, where it unveiled a range of new flooring products featuring differentiated design and functionality.

‘TISE’ is North America’s largest flooring industry trade show, drawing around 60,000 visitors each year. This year, some 700 flooring and building-materials companies from around the world took part, making it the largest edition since the COVID-19 pandemic.

LX Hausys is currently advancing into the North American market with its ‘LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile)’ flooring, which is well suited to local non-ondol (non-underfloor-heating) living spaces where carpet and hardwood flooring are preferred. North America is the world’s largest flooring market and continues to grow, and LX Hausys took part in this show as part of its efforts to accelerate its market push.

At the show, LX Hausys set up an exhibition booth under the concept of ‘a stage where technology meets nature’ and presented ‘PRESTG XL,’ an SPC-based LVT flooring that has recently gained popularity in North America and Europe for its strong resistance to moisture and dents. SPC (Stone Polymer Composite) is a high-strength material made by crushing stone and then compressing it with polymer PVC resin under high temperature and high pressure.

‘PRESTG XL’ features a wide-plank design that doubles the surface area of previous products, delivering the look and feel of real natural wood grain. Because it is made with SPC material, it also offers water resistance superior to that of hardwood flooring as well as durability against denting, earning high praise from visitors including local construction firms.

In addition, LX Hausys set up an ‘Experience Zone,’ where flooring was installed over a large area so that patterns and gloss could be seen at a glance, and a ‘Technology Zone,’ where visitors could experience LX Hausys’ proprietary digital printing and special surface-coating technologies. Configured so that visitors could examine the products and technologies firsthand and receive consultations on the spot, the setup drew a favorable response.

An LX Hausys official said, “Using this TISE show as a springboard, we plan to pursue aggressive sales activities—not only identifying new clients such as large construction firms but also targeting the home-remodeling demand market—and to devote our full efforts to expanding flooring sales in the North American market.”

Meanwhile, LX Hausys plans to continue participating in building-materials trade shows held around the world this year, focusing on discovering new global clients and concentrating its business capabilities on expanding overseas sales to hedge against the domestic market downturn.
