Delivering a 100-Day Celebration Gift

to an Employee Who Welcomed Quadruplets

LX Hausys announced that on December 20, it held the "Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha (Seo-ha, Si-ha, Do-ha, Yul-ha) Happiness Bazaar 100-Day Gift Presentation Ceremony" at its Cheongju plant in North Chungcheong Province, presenting childcare items—including a stroller, learning materials, toys, formula, and diapers—to senior associate Jeong Jae-ryong (36), who became the father of quadruplets last September.

At the time of the quadruplets' birth, the group presented a childbirth encouragement grant of 150 million won to Jeong Jae-ryong's family, and now, ahead of the quadruplets' 100th day on the 21st, employees have once again conveyed their warm wishes.

LX Hausys explained that it planned this "Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha Happiness Bazaar" with the aim of easing Jeong's childcare burden even a little. Over a two-week period beginning early this month, employees donated their personal belongings, and on December 18 the company held bazaars at its Seoul headquarters, the Cheongju plant, and other locations, using the sales proceeds to purchase the 100-day celebration gifts. In particular, five LX Group affiliates—LX International, LX Pantos, LX Semicon, LX MMA, and LX Glas—also joined in, voluntarily holding their own in-house bazaars and contributing the proceeds to add to the warmth of the gesture.

An LX Hausys official said, "This bazaar became an even warmer occasion for sharing as a spontaneous sense of empathy formed among employees who have childcare experience," adding, "Going forward, we will continue to provide various institutional support and activities to help ease the childbirth and childcare burdens of Jeong and other employees."

Meanwhile, ahead of the quadruplets' birth, LX Hausys actively supported Jeong's preparations for childbirth and childcare, including helping him transfer from a production department with three rotating day and night shifts to a support department with daytime work.
