Participates in ‘Interzum 2023’

LX Hausys accelerated its push into the European furniture film market by participating in ‘Interzum,’ the world’s largest exhibition of furniture components and materials, held in Cologne, Germany, from May 9 to 12.

‘Interzum’ is a furniture components and materials exhibition that began in 1959. This year, some 1,600 companies from around the world related to furniture raw and supplementary materials and furniture processing equipment took part, making it the largest edition held since the COVID-19 era.

At this exhibition, LX Hausys organized its booth around the theme of ‘ESG for sustainability,’ unveiling for the first time its ‘BIO SHIELD Recycled Furniture Film,’ a product tailored to capture the European market, where eco-friendliness and resource recycling are highly valued.

The ‘Recycled Furniture Film,’ which is already actively supplied to domestic and overseas markets and is made by recycling plastic PET bottles, along with the ‘BIO SHIELD Recycled Furniture Film,’ which maximizes eco-friendliness by additionally blending plant-derived raw materials even into the surface coating layer, drew great interest from officials at European furniture companies.

In addition, high-performance films such as ‘Super Matt Resist 3D,’ which is resistant to scratches and staining and easily accommodates three-dimensional 3D forming, as well as design-differentiated film products such as ‘DUAL PEARL,’ which produces a subtle achromatic sheen, and ‘ART METAL,’ which applies the metal designs used in home appliances, also drew attention.

In particular, LX Hausys expanded its exhibition booth by 30% compared to previous years and set up a separate space where visitors could examine the exhibited products and receive consultations on the spot, carrying out aggressive sales activities including invitational meetings with Europe’s top five furniture companies.
