Fourth ‘TRENDSHIP’ Held at ‘Week Alley’ in Bukchon
Proposing ‘SY(E)NERGY,’ a Concept of New Energy

LX Hausys is holding ‘2025 TRENDSHIP,’ an experiential pop-up design exhibition built around the unusual theme of interior design meeting fashion. In connection with this, on the 7th LX Hausys opened its fourth ‘TRENDSHIP,’ which runs through March 30 at ‘Week Alley,’ a dedicated event space located in Seoul’s Bukchon district, where tradition and current trends coexist.
Following Seongsu-dong and Euljiro in 2023 and Itaewon in 2024, LX Hausys has once again set up an experiential exhibition space in an area popular with young people, as part of its strategy to steadily expand points of contact with customers in their 20s and 30s.
At this TRENDSHIP, LX Hausys proposed ‘SY(E)NERGY’—signifying the new energy created when elements come together—as the key keyword of this year’s design trends. Reflecting a social mood in which, paradoxically, the accelerating drive toward personalization fuels a growing longing for solidarity and highlights the importance of community, the company predicted that ‘SY(E)NERGY’—in which different elements blend organically to radiate fresh energy—will be a major design trend.
Accordingly, this fourth TRENDSHIP space has been designed as ‘Maison de Synergy,’ which brings LX Hausys’s interior products together with fashion in a showroom space, based on the new perspective that ‘materials are the clothing that a space wears.’
Upon entering the first floor, visitors’ eyes are drawn to the ‘Theme Show Window’ space, composed of garments and props featuring LX Hausys’s product patterns. In addition, the ‘Theme Stage,’ decorated around this year’s design themes, lets visitors experience interior spaces tailored to each theme. In particular, a garment exhibition zone—created in collaboration with the fashion brand ‘OUAREUR,’ reinterpreting LX Hausys’s product designs such as the Diamant wallpaper into fashion—and a virtual pictorial space created using artificial intelligence (AI) are expected to attract great interest from visitors. The second floor is arranged as a visitor experience space. Here, visitors can encounter the ‘Synergy Studio,’ where they can use AI to create their own patterns to decorate a miniature space or composite a photo of their face onto a fashion pictorial for a model experience; the ‘T-shirt Workshop,’ where they can combine design patterns to make their own T-shirt; and the ‘VR Zone,’ where they can experience the themed spaces in virtual reality (VR). Along with this, this year’s TRENDSHIP exhibition can also be experienced online through the official website (www.lxtrendship.com). On the website, visitors can also take a closer look at spaces to which the ‘SY(E)NERGY’ theme has been applied, as well as the various experiential content of the offline exhibition hall.
An LX Hausys official said, “Through this experiential pop-up exhibition, which offers a unique experience in Bukchon, where the latest trends and tradition coexist, we expect to deliver LX Hausys’s own stylish and positive brand experience,” adding, “We will continue to propose fresh interior trends that reflect our customers’ lifestyles and to communicate even more closely with customers through a variety of channels.”
