Aluminum system windows and doors delivered and installed at the model house
Gonggan System Windows (CEO Yeom Hyun-jun) announced on July 22 that it is supplying aluminum system windows to Florence Townhouse, located in the Yeongmun-ri area of Cheoin-gu, Yongin.
Florence Townhouse is scheduled to be developed with a total of 20 units on a 9,720㎡ site, and aluminum system windows and doors have been delivered and installed at the model house.
CEO Yeom Hyun-jun said, “Amid the aftermath of high interest rates and rising costs of raw and subsidiary materials and labor, the market for detached country homes is in a very difficult situation,” and predicted, “The performance and elegant design of aluminum system windows will present an opportunity to raise the townhouse’s sales success rate.”
The model house uses the sloped terrain to divide its spaces, and it was completed in a modern style that emphasizes the building’s mass through simple straight lines and planes. In particular, the aluminum system windows applied here further accentuate the building’s façade design, while their excellent insulation and airtightness performance minimize heat loss.
The Gonggan System Windows products applied to the townhouse include, by opening method, L/S (Lift & Sliding, 210㎜), T/T (Tilt & Turn, 97㎜), and TILT windows, while FIX (fixed, 97㎜) windows were also used where appropriate. The entrance door is equipped with a multi-locking system, taking into account not only security but also airtightness performance.
The average thermal transmittance of Gonggan System Windows is an average of 0.978–1.2 W/㎡. Considering that the thermal transmittance for building sections by region is Central Zone 1 (1,300 W/㎡·K or less), Central Zone 2 (1,500 W/㎡·K or less), and the Southern Zone (1,800 W/㎡·K or less), its thermal efficiency is excellent. Its airtightness, which can block air entering from outside, also averages 0.00–0.22 ㎥/㎡h, creating spaces that are cool in summer and warm in winter.
Meanwhile, Gonggan System Windows has delivered and installed aluminum system windows at a wide range of sites, including townhouses such as Courtyard North Hill, World Meridian, and Ella County, as well as the Residence of the Japanese Ambassador to Korea, the Antarctic King Sejong Station, Ramada Gunsan, and the Seoul Office of Education.
