LX Hausys has partnered with the Korea Special Information Certification Institute to provide interior services aimed at improving housing welfare for South Korean soldiers and their families.

LX Hausys announced that on March 28, it signed a 'Business Agreement to Provide Interior Services for Improving the Housing Welfare of MiliPass Members' at LX Hausys headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, with attendees including Executive Director Kwon Sang-mu, head of the LX Hausys Interior Business Division, and Lee Young-gyeol, CEO of the Korea Special Information Certification Institute.

'MiliPass' is an identity verification platform for soldiers and military families developed by the Korea Special Information Certification Institute. It provides simple identity verification as well as leave and payroll management for service members (including reservists and long-term personnel with 20 or more years of service) and their families, while companies in shopping, household goods, travel, telecommunications, and education have set up shop in its welfare mall to offer various convenience services. Through this agreement, LX Hausys becomes the first company in the domestic interior industry to join 'MiliPass' and provide interior services, selling major interior products (including installation services) such as windows and doors, flooring, wallpaper, engineered stone, and kitchen furniture.

As LX Hausys signed this business agreement to improve the housing welfare of soldiers and military families, it plans to offer a permanent 15% discount on 'MiliPass'. In addition, to commemorate the agreement, the company will run product discounts and various prize-giveaway events for MiliPass members through the end of April. It will offer up to a 15% discount on interior products and a limited 22% discount on kitchen furniture (product name: Selection 5), and will present a 3-piece premium kitchen knife set and more to all customers who sign a contract.
