A social contribution agreement ceremony pledging to practice sharing together
A positive example of establishing a sound social contribution culture through the synergy of the agreement
On June 9, Noroo Paint held a social contribution agreement ceremony with Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital, pledging to put sharing into practice.
The ceremony, held at the main building of Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital in Pyeongchon, was attended by key officials including Noroo Paint CEO Cho Sung-kook and Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital Director Yoo Kyung-ho.
Through this agreement, Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital pledged to provide medical volunteer support for residents living in the various social contribution sites where Noroo Paint is active, such as its Cool Roof campaign, while Noroo Paint plans to supply paint to childcare centers, senior care facilities, and facilities for people with disabilities within Anyang City that are affiliated with Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital, thereby improving the environment of aging buildings.
In addition, the two organizations plan to establish a cooperative system for dispatching volunteer personnel to areas hit by emergency disasters such as wildfires and flooding, centered on the hospital's volunteer group, the Neurinso Community Service Corps. At the same time, as a solution to the social problem of declining blood donations in the wake of COVID-19, they plan to organize a blood donation campaign for their executives and employees.
To date, Noroo Paint has carried out tailored support activities that leverage its expertise, such as residential improvement projects, based on its specialized color technology, while Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital, as the only tertiary general hospital serving Anyang, Gunpo, Gwacheon, and Uiwang cities, has conducted medical support activities for the medically underserved in the region.
The two organizations explained that a social contribution agreement between a company and a medical institution will serve as a positive example for establishing a sound social contribution culture, and that by adding synergy to each other's expertise, it will become a greater opportunity to bring hope to their neighbors.
