Building materials company DECOA Co., Ltd. (CEO Kwon Hee-taek) has launched full-scale sales of 'Parabond,' a silicone-type eco-friendly adhesive that eliminates installation defects at construction sites, setting out to expand the related market.
'Parabond' is a one-component MS polymer-based sealant adhesive produced by DL Chemicals of Belgium, a future-oriented product that replaces conventional two-component epoxy adhesives. Compared to two-component types, it offers simplicity and convenience in installation as well as the effect of shortening the construction period, and with its competitive pricing, it is emerging as the leading candidate to reshape the adhesive market going forward.
Parabond is an adhesive in the MS polymer (modified silicone polymer) line from DL Chemicals, Belgium's largest company, founded in 1936. It can be used in almost all kinds of environments, has very strong adhesive properties upon initial curing, and is an eco-friendly product that does not cause staining.
Conventional epoxy adhesives are two-component types that are used by mixing a base and a hardener.
