‘Design Park NC Daejeon Yuseong’ opens, with differentiated spaces including a model house, a building-materials sample zone and a kitchen zone

Hanssem Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Jin-tae), a total home interior specialist, has opened ‘Hanssem Design Park NC Daejeon Yuseong,’ a total home interior store where customers can find interior furniture and remodeling products all in one place, at the NC Department Store located in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon.

‘Hanssem Design Park NC Daejeon Yuseong’ is located on the 7th floor of ‘NC Daejeon Yuseong,’ and with a sales area of 3,090㎡ (about 935 pyeong) it is the largest directly operated home interior brand store in the central region. The store is composed of a ‘Furniture Hall (2,159㎡)’ that proposes furniture by space—such as living room, bedroom, study and children's room—and a remodeling specialist ‘Home Remodeling Hall (931㎡)’ covering kitchens, bathrooms, windows and doors, flooring, wall closets, lighting and more.

Yuseong-gu, where NC Daejeon Yuseong is located, is home to a dense cluster of universities and research institutions and is considered the commercial district with the highest foot traffic in the Daejeon area. At ‘Hanssem Design Park NC Daejeon Yuseong,’ Hanssem has prepared experiential content incorporating digital technology and a variety of display spaces so that customers of diverse age groups—from people in their 20s to newlyweds and families—can enjoy their visit.

The △Storage Zone △Sofa Specialty Zone △Mattress Experience Zone and △VR Zone at ‘Hanssem Design Park NC Daejeon Yuseong’ are experiential spaces combined with digital technology, enabling a differentiated contactless shopping experience in which customers can obtain product information even without a salesperson's explanation. When a customer pulls a sample door of a built-in wardrobe displayed in the ‘Storage Zone,’ the image and price of the storage unit can be checked on a large display. In the ‘Mattress Experience Zone’ and ‘Sofa Specialty Zone,’ information on the materials and interior fillings of various products is provided through video and audio guides. In the ‘VR Zone,’ customers can explore more than 200 interior plans decorated with Hanssem's furniture and building materials in VR (Virtual Reality) via kiosks installed throughout the store.

In particular, Hanssem's furniture space design experts, ICs (Interior Coordinators), and remodeling experts, RDs (Rehaus Designers), are stationed in the store to provide customized consultation services using Hanssem's 3D design consultation program ‘Home Planner.’ The floor plan of the apartment where the customer lives is rendered in 3D and furniture and building materials are arranged in various ways, giving a preview of how the home will look after the interior work.

‘Hanssem Design Park NC Daejeon Yuseong’ has been designed so that customers can directly touch and open various products across several display spaces where furniture and building materials are harmoniously arranged, and obtain information on the latest home interior trends. In two types of ‘model houses’ that look as though an actual apartment has been moved straight into the store—△Modern Crystal White 120㎡ and △Modern Beige Natural 99㎡—customers can move between various spaces such as the entrance, living room, kitchen and bedroom, and experience in advance how a home remodeled with Hanssem's building materials would look.

The ‘Building Materials Zone’ displays about 800 kinds of building-material samples, including windows and doors, flooring, tiles, wallpaper and pivot doors. Customers can directly compare and experience the various samples and choose the materials they want. In addition, they can view a total of about 60 space-by-space displays, covering the kitchen, bathroom, living room, bedroom, children's room, study and more. Customers can obtain a variety of interior information reflecting different lifestyles, such as a hotel-style bedroom for newlyweds, a theater-like living room, and a kitchen decorated as a home café.

To celebrate the opening, ‘Hanssem Design Park NC Daejeon Yuseong’ is running gift and discount events. Until August 31, 30 customers per day, on a first-come, first-served basis, who receive a consultation or estimate for furniture or remodeling products at the store, will be given gifts such as a Bluetooth speaker, a French embroidery DIY kit, or a moon mood-light set.

A variety of gifts have also been prepared for customers who purchase furniture and remodeling products, by contract amount. Customers who sign a contract of 2 million won or more at the ‘Furniture Hall’ receive a ‘3-piece pot set,’ 3 million won or more a ‘summer comforter set,’ 5 million won or more a ‘Winia air purifier,’ and 7 million won or more a ‘Balmuda toaster’ or ‘pressure rice cooker.’ At the ‘Home Remodeling Hall,’ customers who sign a remodeling construction contract and complete construction by August receive gifts by purchase amount tier—such as a ‘Dyson Airwrap,’ ‘Dyson cordless vacuum,’ ‘Bodyfriend massage chair’ or ‘E-Land gift voucher’ for 10 million won, 20 million won or 30 million won, respectively.
