LG Hausys is expanding its interior stores into major large home appliance marts so that home remodeling customers can purchase interior products and home appliances at the same time more conveniently.
After the LG Z:IN interior stores—introduced last year as a shop-in-shop format at LG Electronics Best Shops—drew a favorable response from home remodeling customers, the company has now moved to expand its interior store presence into major large home appliance marts.
Recently, LG Z:IN interior stores opened in the large specialized home appliance marts unveiled by retailers, including E-Mart's Electro Mart Jukjeon store and Lotte Hi-Mart's Megastore Suwon store.
To let customers preview how interior products and home appliances harmonize, these stores are decorated like actual living spaces, arranging LG Hausys's windows and doors, flooring, wall panels, engineered stone, and premium kitchen and bathroom products together with LG Electronics' home appliances such as TVs, refrigerators, washing machines, dishwashers, and cooktops.
Because customers can examine their desired interior style and shop for matching home appliances all in one space, the stores are also drawing high purchase satisfaction in practice.
LG Hausys plans to continue expanding its LG Z:IN interior stores into major large home appliance marts, growing its one-stop distribution channel for interior products and home appliances to about 80 locations nationwide by the end of this year.
Meanwhile, LG Hausys has newly renovated and reopened 'LG Z:IN Square,' its flagship showroom located on the furniture street in Nonhyeon-dong, Seoul. First opened in 2014, 'LG Z:IN Square' has established itself as an interior landmark visited by an average of more than 2,000 people a month, offering total solution services that span from product consultation to design proposals and connections with construction firms.
This renovation is notable for organizing the space as a customer-centered interior showroom where visitors can explore the latest interior trends and even enjoy digital untact (contactless) experiences. The showroom is composed of three concept spaces: a lifestyle zone on the first floor, a materials library on the second floor, and a showroom-cum-customer experience space on the third floor.
