Solutions for Multi-Unit Housing Maintenance

Mobility-Based Flooring Technology

‘The K Housing,’ a specialized apartment maintenance brand, took part in the ‘2025 Multi-Unit Housing and Collective Building Management Industry Expo,’ held from July 30 to August 2, showcasing maintenance solutions optimized for Korea's multi-unit housing environment.

At the expo, The K Housing introduced specialized maintenance technologies and solutions for major apartment components undergoing deterioration, such as exterior walls, rooftops, and parking lots. Its strengths lie in designing the optimal construction methods based on on-site conditions and requirements, and in enhancing the reliability and sustainability of construction through named-accountability products developed on the strength of technical expertise accumulated by R&D personnel holding master's and doctoral degrees. The company also held a technical seminar to share insights into next-generation parking lot flooring technology for mobility that combines eco-friendliness with non-combustible performance. BuildChem CEO Ha Sang-wook took the stage as a speaker, delivering a presentation on the theme of ‘Trends in Future-Oriented Eco-Friendly, Non-Combustible Parking Lot Flooring for Mobility,’ and presented a sustainable future direction for the flooring sector. The K Housing, which grew out of the technical expertise of BuildChem—a company that has produced high-quality construction materials for over 30 years—is contributing to the improvement of residential environments, with products currently exported to 18 countries and collaboration with more than 110 specialized maintenance partner companies in Korea. In particular, it offers a more efficient and systematic approach to building management through an integrated management system that spans product research, production, quality assurance, and construction.

The K Housing stated that through this exhibition it plans to set a new standard for multi-unit housing maintenance and to strengthen technical cooperation with industry practitioners, adding that it will play a leading role in enhancing residential safety and management efficiency with solutions optimized for Korea's apartment environment.
