Among the brands at 'KBIS 2023',

a showroom that delivers a special experience

Dacor, a leading American luxury built-in home appliance brand acquired by Samsung Electronics in 2016, has won the '2023 Innovative Showroom Award' from the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA).

The Innovative Showroom Award is presented to a showroom that delivers a special experience to consumers among the brands that took part in 'KBIS (The Kitchen & Bath Industry Show) 2023', held this past January in Las Vegas, USA.

Dacor won in the Kitchen & Bath Design Centers category for the 'Dacor Kitchen Theater' it operates in Irvine, California.

The Dacor Kitchen Theater features an open layout that harmoniously connects indoor and outdoor spaces, while natural materials such as wood with visible grain and stone elevate the sophistication of the space. It opened in 2020 as the third location, following New York and Chicago.

In particular, influenced by Southern California, where Dacor was born, it captures the brand's past, present and future. Inspired by California's diverse terrain—embracing the Pacific coast to the west and the Nevada mountains to the east—it boasts a simple yet geometric design and natural light that softly illuminates the space.

Beyond its spatial beauty, the fact that it offers a wide range of experiences was also cited as a reason for the award. It provides professional cooking demonstrations, product use and education.

At the Dacor Kitchen Theater, visitors can encounter kitchen appliances in a variety of styles, including △the 'Contemporary' line, which embodies urban modernity, and △the 'Transitional' line, which combines contemporary design with craftsmanship.
