Distribution Paint Dealers from Across the Nation Attend
Sharing Management Policies and Business Plans

Global applied materials chemistry company KCC (CEO Jung Jae-hoon) has moved to strengthen its partnerships with architectural paint dealers nationwide through its ‘Dong-go-dong-rak’ mutual-growth seminar. The seminar was held with the participation of some 200 people, including dealer representatives from three regions—the Seoul metropolitan area, the Honam/Chungcheong region, and the Yeongnam region—along with KCC officials.
At the seminar, KCC shared its 2024 management goals and business strategy, market trends, and technology direction, and discussed measures for headquarters to support the expansion of dealer sales. There, Executive Vice President Baek Chang-gi, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the paint business, explained the key initiatives and implementation plans for 2024 and emphasized strengthening quality and technological competitiveness, creating synergy with partner companies, and expanding shared-growth programs. KCC was the first in the world’s paint industry to unveil the AI-based color-matching system ‘KCC SMART.’ This is a cutting-edge system that can complete everything from color formulation design to color matching within a maximum of five minutes. In addition, the event served as an opportunity to deepen understanding of KCC’s uniquely competitive color-matching system and products, including the operation of ‘Color Master Club,’ a premium in-can color-matching specialty store, and the introduction of 15 new products this year. Along with this, KCC selected outstanding club dealers that achieved a certain level of annual sales and presented them with certification plaques and prize money; in particular, this year it awarded a ‘Dealer of the Year’ for each branch to boost morale and offer encouragement.
Ham Sung-soo, Managing Director and head of KCC’s Distribution Paint Business Division, said, “I would like to express my gratitude to the dealer representatives who attended the event despite the difficult market conditions,” adding, “The management environment is expected to be challenging this year, but as partners pursuing a common goal, we will strive to actively support the dealer representatives working on the front lines so that we can become a reliable companion moving forward together.”
