Manufacturing-process motion graphics spark interest and aid product understanding

Latest domestic and international interior trends broaden communication

Dongwha Enterprise (CEO Kim Hong-jin) announced that it has unveiled a newly redesigned website for its Board Business Division, introducing its board brand ‘Dongwha Eco Board’ and its MFB (processed board) brand ‘Dongwha Design Board.’

On the new website, each product’s ‘Introduction Page’ presents its manufacturing process rendered in motion graphics. The production processes for △PB (particle board) △MDF △MFB are expressed through animation to spark customer interest and make the products easier to understand.

The site also features a ‘Trend Menu,’ in which product designers personally select and share the latest topics. By sharing domestic and international interior and building-materials trends while also proposing tailored options for each type of space, it helps customers create highly polished spaces.

The ‘Applications’ section offers actual installation cases and application images by pattern. Customers can preview how their chosen product looks when installed in a residential space and consider options suited to their tastes.

Park Myung-gyun, Managing Director of Dongwha Enterprise’s Board Sales Division, said, “We hope the new website will become yet another source of competitiveness for Dongwha, as well as a communication channel for sharing the value of eco-friendly boards,” adding, “We will continue to explore ways to expand our points of contact with customers.”

Meanwhile, founded in 1948, Dongwha Enterprise is a global company spanning the materials and chemicals businesses. It leads the domestic board market by producing medium-density fiberboard (MDF), particle board (PB), and more, and it entered the building-materials business by establishing Korea’s first laminate flooring plant, achieving vertical integration of its operations through the production of high-value-added products. Since the 2000s, it has expanded overseas production bases in Malaysia, Vietnam, and Australia, establishing itself as a global leader in the industry. Dongwha Enterprise has also continued to develop its capabilities in the chemicals field, beginning with the production of eco-friendly resins. Today it produces electrolytes—a core material for batteries—as well as fine chemical products and surface materials, with production bases in China, Malaysia, Finland, and elsewhere.
