Hyundai Livart Opens ‘Livart Gimpo Store’ Inside Hyundai Premium Outlet Gimpo
Hyundai Livart, the total interior company under Hyundai Department Store Group, has opened ‘Livart Gimpo Store,’ a total interior showroom, on the 4th floor of the Lifestyle Hall at Hyundai Premium Outlet Gimpo.
‘Livart Gimpo Store’ is distinguished by its ‘total interior service,’ which encompasses not only Hyundai Livart’s general furniture, kitchen furniture (Livart Kitchen), and bathrooms (Livart Bath), but also lighting and home-furnishing accessories.
The store spans a total of 952㎡ (288 pyeong) and is organized into a ‘Living Zone’ and a ‘Kitchen·Bath Zone,’ among others. The Living Zone displays more than 200 types of furniture tailored to the concept of each space, such as the living room, master bedroom, and study, while the Kitchen·Bath Zone lets visitors view a variety of kitchen-furniture doors, tiles, countertop stone, and bathroom ceramic samples all in one place. ‘Livart Planners’ with detailed engineering and design expertise will be stationed at the store to provide professional consulting services as well.
In addition, one corner of the store features ‘Style Zone,’ a model-house showroom that faithfully recreates an apartment with a private area of 84㎡ (a supply area in the 30-pyeong range). An official from Hyundai Livart explained, “This space will be designed as a trendy area where customers can be the first to encounter Hyundai Livart’s new furniture and interior products applied to the entrance, living room, kitchen, master bedroom, bathroom, and more.”
To mark the store’s opening, Hyundai Livart is also running a variety of promotions. Customers who spend 200,000 won or more will receive a ‘Pottery Barn cushion cover,’ and household furniture such as the ‘ZZOO Kids Sofa’ and the ‘New Mason Dining Chair’ will be sold at a special 50%-off price in limited quantities.
An official from Hyundai Livart said, “We plan to expand the number of stores that provide total interior services—including kitchen, bathroom, and other interior remodeling—all in one place,” adding, “We will continue to introduce differentiated services that can meet customers’ growing demands for their living environments.”
Meanwhile, Hyundai Livart announced that its operating profit for the second quarter of this year came to 5.1 billion won, a 49.6% decrease from the same period last year. Over the same period, revenue was similar at 353 billion won, but net income fell 86.4% to 920 million won. By business segment, revenue from the domestic B2C business rose 5.8% to 87.2 billion won. B2B furniture revenue was tallied at 100.6 billion won, down 5.9%. B2B business revenue also fell 5.7%, stopping at 125.8 billion won. An official from Hyundai Livart said, “In the second half, alongside the expansion of the B2C furniture business such as kitchen furniture, our new overseas temporary-construction business will move into full swing, so both revenue and operating profit will improve compared with the first half.”
