Mouble (CEO Park Jeong-su) has announced a business plan to focus on partial remodeling (repair) and point construction of kitchen furniture.
To lead the market with a range of specialized technologies, Mouble is carrying out a business dedicated to creating one's own special space through point furniture construction, with a goal that emphasizes point-focused changes to existing kitchen furniture and harmony at remodeling construction sites in terms of furniture packaging and appliances.
In addition, for more meticulous and systematic management and operation, Mouble is undertaking system inspection, repair, and planning together with the Korea Security Research Institute (Director Park Min-seong). This joint work is being carried out to develop space-specific packages for consumers, to provide consultation and after-sales service, to expand the range of segmented and diverse options, and to minimize inconvenience throughout the entire work process.
COVID-19 brought many changes to everyday living environments. As a measure to prevent the spread of infectious disease, people refrained from outdoor activities, and as more time was spent at home, interest in changing the living environment—such as decorating the home—grew. As a result, the kitchen furniture and interior market gradually expanded, and a wave of enhancing the quality of daily life took hold. Since the outbreak of COVID-19, sales of kitchen furniture and everyday point furniture construction products have grown severalfold.
CEO Park Jeong-su explained the main types of requests and construction activities, saying, "In addition to general kitchen furniture installation, there are many requests for replacing the countertops of existing kitchen furniture with engineered marble, for repairing cracked (split) engineered marble, and for partial point installations using engineered marble," adding, "Recently, engineered marble washbasin (sink) work has increased considerably, and engineered marble is mainly installed in communal areas such as schools, government offices, hospitals and clinics, and daycare centers."
He went on to add, "Going forward, rather than the existing method of complete demolition followed by new installation, partial repair remodeling and point construction of kitchen furniture are expected to gain popularity among consumers," noting, "This construction method has the advantage of achieving high efficiency at low cost, and in particular, it is directly linked to reducing the cost burden on consumers."
Meanwhile, Mouble is a mid-sized company with 20 years of history, and its headquarters and factory are located in Jicheon-myeon, Chilgok-gun, Gyeongbuk.
