Located in Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do; to be opened to customers in phases
Launch of the low-noise cordless air compressor 'M18 FAC'
Milwaukee Korea (CEO Park Yong-beom), the world-renowned premium power tool brand, held the opening ceremony for its cordless equipment 'MX FUEL EXPERIENCE CENTER' this past November in Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do.
Held under strict disease-prevention guidelines, this opening ceremony was attended by official MX FUEL partner companies and Milwaukee Korea executives and staff. Going forward, Milwaukee plans to open the newly launched experience center to customers in phases while complying with the government's social distancing policies.
The event consisted of an unveiling ceremony announcing the successful launch of MX FUEL, a cake-cutting ceremony, and demonstrations and hands-on experiences of three MX FUEL products (a 14-inch cut-off saw, a diamond core drill, and a breaker). A more detailed video recap of the opening ceremony can be viewed on Milwaukee Korea's official YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/milwaukeetoolkorea).
Meanwhile, Milwaukee Korea unveiled the 'M18 FAC,' a cordless air compressor quieter than a ringing telephone, as its new product for January. The M18 FAC is Milwaukee's first low-noise air compressor, dramatically reducing the operating noise prevalent with corded compressors to 68 dB(A). This is lower than the sound of an ordinary telephone ring (70 dB), and it is expected to be highly advantageous for indoor work.
In addition, the product can handle up to 1,600 brad nailing operations on a single charge of the M18 HB12 battery. The M18 FAC has an air tank capacity of 7.6 liters, a pressure of 135 psi, dimensions of 27×41×27 cm, and a weight of 14 kg (bare tool).
