Samsung Electronics is holding the ‘Samsung Electronics Energy Saving Special Sale,’ where customers can purchase high-efficiency, energy-saving home appliances and environmentally conscious appliances for a sustainable everyday life with special benefits.
This event covers a total of 9 product categories and 30 models—including refrigerators and kimchi refrigerators, Grande AI washers and dryers, WindFree air conditioners, and AirDressers, along with various BESPOKE appliances and QLED TVs—and runs simultaneously at online and offline stores nationwide until May 31. When purchasing two or more of these product categories at the same time, customers can receive benefits worth 200,000 won per product, and when purchasing an air conditioner, benefits worth 500,000 won.
This year, Samsung Electronics has launched new products with even greater energy efficiency than existing top-tier (Grade 1) energy-efficiency products. The BESPOKE Grande AI Washer (25 kg) and the BESPOKE WindFree Air Conditioner Gallery consume 20% and 10% less power, respectively, than the minimum standard for Grade 1 energy-efficiency products. The BESPOKE Grande AI Washer is also the first in Korea to feature a ‘Microplastic Reduction Course,’ which cuts microplastic emissions by up to 60%. Using SmartThings’ ‘AI Energy Mode’ together with these products allows for additional power savings. Energy savings reach up to 20% for air conditioners, up to 60% for washers, and up to 35% for dryers.
Alongside this event, Samsung Electronics is also running the ‘SmartThings AI Energy Mode’ experience event on Samsung.com, offering small gifts to customers who verify their use of ‘AI Energy Mode’ or take part in a quiz.
Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics is introducing an ‘Energy Calculator’ service on Samsung.com that lets customers quickly and easily check the power consumption of their home appliances. By entering information on the products they currently own—such as appliance category, year of release, and energy-efficiency grade—customers can find out their average power consumption.
