Recovering a slower sensibility amid busy daily life

LP listening and singing bowl meditation sessions

SLOU BED, the mattress specialty brand of the Fursys Group, held 'SLOW ECHO'—a sound bath program focused on music and the sounds within—on December 19 at 'Concino Concrete' in Paju.

Designed to help participants step away from external stimuli, focus on the resonance of sound, and restore their inner senses, the 'Slow Echo' program offered two hours of focused time through Concino Concrete's grand and profound LP sound and gentle singing bowl meditation. In the 'LP Listening Session — Walking Along the Sound,' classical and jazz music personally curated by Concino Concrete was presented. The rich, deep sound produced by oversized vintage speakers drew participants into full immersion. The 'Singing Bowl Session — Resonance in Stillness' was led by a professional singing bowl player, offering time to lie on a mat in a tranquil atmosphere, settle one's breathing, and recover the sense of slowness through restorative meditation.

Since last November, SLOU BED has been running the 'STAY SLOU — A Journey to Find the Slow Path' campaign, which puts the value of a slow life into practice in collaboration with STAYFOLIO, a curation platform for fine stays. Held in distinctive spaces ranging from hanok stays to music listening rooms, the Stay Slou campaign was designed as an experiential program—including reading while lying down, walks, morning routines, and sound baths—that lets participants slow the pace of daily life and enjoy a sense of ease. This Slow Echo program marked the conclusion of the journey to 'find the slow path.'
