Total sleep-care brand Evzary has renewed and reopened its Sleep & Sleep Hoegi branch in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul.

The newly refurbished store, measuring 165㎡ (50 pyeong), is the first Evzary store to introduce a Sleep Tech–based experiential system that measures sleep by linking Internet of Things (IoT) devices with bedding. Evzary planned the IoT-integrated store renewal to move closer to Sleep & Sleep's brand goal of promoting healthy sleep through personalized sleep solutions.

Visiting customers first receive recommendations for functional bedding suited to them based on △sleep habits △sleep environment △body type and more, via an in-store sleep consultant or a tablet PC. After installing the dedicated Sleep & Sleep app and attaching a sleep-tracking sensor to the recommended product, metrics such as heart rate, respiration rate, and degree of tossing and turning are measured in real time and recorded in the mobile app. By checking the real-time data while comparing and trying out various bedding, customers can find the most optimized bedding for them.

Unlike existing stores, the renewed Sleep & Sleep Hoegi branch is arranged around functional product lines, featuring more than 70 kinds of Sleep & Sleep toppers, pillows, and inner fillings. In the bedding-experience area, toppers segmented by degree of softness are laid out, so customers can try products on a topper similar to their own sleep environment. Customers can freely try out pillows, comforters, and other items suggested via the tablet PC and can also receive recommendations for the topper best suited to them. Evzary's policy is to raise customer satisfaction by providing sleep solutions more finely optimized for each individual.

Cho Eun-ja, deputy director of Evzary's Sleep Environment Research Institute, said, "We devised a way to further advance Evzary's experiential consulting service and are presenting it first at the Sleep & Sleep Hoegi branch," adding, "Going forward, we will continue to consider ways to present solutions to sleep problems by looking at various fields together, including sleep tech."
