‘Interior Trend Showcase’ to Introduce Color Trends and Eco-Friendly Materials
Organized Around Diverse Concepts to Present New Trends Utilizing Flooring
Shinmyung Maru will take part in Korea Build Week, to be held from February 21 to 24 at KINTEX in Ilsan.
Korea Build Week is an event that not only showcases the latest trends in architecture, construction, and interior design, but also features special programs reflecting rapidly changing government policies, along with matching programs, conferences, and other offerings, organized into a variety of themed showcases.
Shinmyung Maru will participate in the Interior Design Korea special pavilion, which is centered on the interior and exterior finishing materials used in interior remodeling, including the diverse products and finishes that make up a space.
This concept, brought to life as a space introducing interior and design trends, revolves around the 2024 color trends and eco-friendly materials that Shinmyung Maru presents. At this exhibition, visitors can experience Belgian-made Quick-Step flooring, which holds numerous eco-friendly certifications both at home and abroad, as well as Namu&Care natural wallpaper made from hinoki cypress and pine.
Featuring flooring and wallpaper in a wide range of colors, as well as a space designed to convey overall interior trends, this exhibition is expected to offer fresh inspiration not only to customers but also to architects and interior designers. In particular, visitors to the exhibition can actually touch the Quick-Step flooring and natural wallpaper and experience Quick-Step’s click system for joining flooring boards, allowing them to see firsthand the advantages of each finishing material.
Kwon Hyuk-tae, CEO of Shinmyung Maru, said, “From Quick-Step’s hybrid and parquet flooring product lines to spaces composed of Alpha Vinyl, the display is organized around a variety of concepts, so visitors will be able to discover new trends utilizing flooring.” He added, “Since it is not easy to decide on flooring or wallpaper based on a small sample, it is only natural to want to see an actual installed site—and this will be a great opportunity to do so.”
