Ace Hardware

A Catalyst for Brand Value Growth

Eugene Home Center's home interior & home repair specialty store 'Ace Hardware' carried out an exchange and cooperation project with the global head office team from May 23 to June 3.

This exchange and cooperation with the Ace Hardware global head office team was arranged as part of the ELS (Enhanced Licensee Support) program.

The ELS program is a collaborative project that Ace Hardware's global head office is pursuing to strengthen the competitiveness of its branches around the world. Running from this April through October, it aims to achieve the following goals: △rationalizing product categories and assortments △improving store operations and enhancing the customer experience △increasing customer traffic and the number of transactions.

During the roughly two-week exchange and cooperation period, the five-member global head office team personally visited six Ace Hardware stores in Korea as well as competitors, and held discussions on areas for improvement and operational strategies with the personnel responsible for each area, including merchandising, marketing, and store operations.

An official from Eugene Home Center said, "It was a valuable opportunity to learn the marketing strategies and operational know-how of the Ace Hardware global head office, one of the world's largest home improvement franchises," adding, "We expect this exchange and cooperation to act as a catalyst for the growth of the brand value of Ace Hardware in Korea."
