Certifications awarded to 30 outlets, expanding the e-MAX Club network
Rigorous quality evaluations conducted every six months, with removal for those failing to meet standards
KCC (CEO Chung Mong-jin) is implementing the e-MAX Club Prime Distributor certification program for its window and door distribution dealers. The aim is to strengthen dealer quality management by granting certification to distribution dealers with outstanding quality.
KCC announced that on September 22 it held a 2022 e-MAX Club Prime Distributor new dealer certification ceremony at the JW Marriott Hotel in Seoul, launching a total of 30 window and door distribution e-MAX Clubs nationwide. In addition to its existing 72 ‘e-MAX Club’ outlets specializing in window and door processing and installation, KCC plans to operate the ‘e-MAX Club Prime Distributor’ program, which specializes in the distribution market.
Through this, KCC has established a network that stabilizes the superior quality of its window and door distribution dealers, and on that basis has expanded its points of contact for bringing high-quality products to consumers.
To join the window and door distribution e-MAX Club, a dealer must pass KCC’s rigorous quality screening process. A dealer must possess standard equipment that meets or exceeds the criteria required by KCC, and must use raw and subsidiary materials certified by KCC.
In addition, dealers must complete the window and door training center courses conducted regularly at KCC headquarters and pass evaluation criteria including after-sales service. This evaluation process takes place every six months, and even for companies that have already been certified, KCC plans to consistently manage quality by removing them from the e-MAX Club through periodic reviews if they fall short of quality management standards such as commitment to quality, quality assurance, and complaint-handling capabilities.
Window and door products come in a wide variety of types by application, and each must be processed to suit its specific purpose and characteristics. From the perspective of consumers, who are inevitably unfamiliar with this, products manufactured by e-MAX Club Prime Distributor member companies can be purchased with confidence because they are products that have undergone regular quality management by KCC.
e-MAX Club member companies are issued an e-MAX member certificate and may display the ‘e-MAX Club Prime Distributor’ nameplate.
A KCC official stated, “Stabilizing the quality of windows and doors—a key element in perfecting home condition—will be able to satisfy the demands of increasingly discerning consumers through e-MAX Club certification,” adding, “Through the revitalization of the e-MAX Club, KCC will strengthen win-win cooperation, including promoting the competitiveness of window and door distribution companies.”
In order to continuously provide customers with the highest quality, KCC plans to foster and manage the window and door distribution e-MAX Club by facilitating communication among dealers and periodically providing education and management on window and door market trends, new products, and proper manufacturing and installation methods.
