LX Hausys Participates in the ‘2021 K-HOSPITAL FAIR’
Showcases a Wide Range of Products Including Flooring and Engineered Stone for Medical Facilities
LX Hausys took part in the ‘2021 K-HOSPITAL FAIR (International Hospital & Medical Industry Fair)’ held at COEX in Seoul, where it presented a variety of interior materials for medical facilities.
Hosted by the Korean Hospital Association, the ‘K-HOSPITAL FAIR’ is Korea’s largest healthcare industry exhibition, drawing some 20,000 visitors each year, including medical industry professionals.
At this exhibition, LX Hausys presented an extensive lineup of products for medical facilities, including highly durable flooring, fire-safe wall coverings, and exceptionally hygienic engineered stone.
Among them, the ‘Prairie’ and ‘Origin’ series—flooring designed exclusively for medical facilities—drew considerable attention from visitors, thanks to their single-layer, homogeneous structure from surface to base that delivers outstanding durability along with antibacterial and stain-resistant performance.
Also drawing attention amid growing social interest in fire safety were flame-retardant wallpapers such as ‘Gracia Tex,’ as well as ‘Semi-Non-Combustible Sheet,’ a wall covering that resists the spread of fire and emits low levels of hazardous substances, earning a semi-non-combustible performance certification from the Korea Fire Institute (KFI).
In addition, the ‘HI-MACS’ acrylic solid surface and ‘Viatera’ engineered stone won strong responses for their premium interior appeal along with excellent hygiene and durability, making them suitable for a range of spaces such as hospital lobby information desks, examination rooms, and operating rooms.
On top of this, as interior designs that create nature-inspired healing and rest areas grow popular in medical facilities as well, the ‘Woozen Real Deck’ reinforced wood—which adds an anti-slip function to a realistic natural-wood texture—is gaining the spotlight as a flooring material for rest areas.
In particular, LX Hausys drew crowds by organizing a Healthcare Interior Solution Proposal Zone and a Hospital Space Styling Zone using its medical-facility products, allowing visitors to see firsthand how an actual hospital would look when decorated with LX Hausys products.
An LX Hausys official said, “Using this exhibition as a springboard, we will widely promote LX Hausys’s diverse range of medical-facility products, and going forward we will continue to introduce differentiated products that combine hygiene, durability, and fire safety to lead the market.”
