An actual 34-pyeong apartment recreated, offering interior proposals for a family of three

One-stop shopping from interior furniture to materials

iloom, the residential furniture brand of the Fursys Group, announced that it has unveiled the ‘iloom·LG Z:IN Model House Showroom’—a collaborative exhibition space with LG Hausys—at its iloom Mapo Seodaemun store.

The ‘iloom·LG Z:IN Model House Showroom,’ opened as a shop-in-shop at the iloom Mapo Seodaemun store, is the first collaborative exhibition space unveiled by iloom and LG Hausys following their interior business partnership agreement in July, realistically recreating the interior of an actual 34-pyeong (112.2㎡) apartment.

Built around the concept of a family home shared by a married couple, their child, and a companion cat, the ‘iloom·LG Z:IN Model House Showroom’ uses modern, simple solid-wood furniture and beige tone-on-tone materials to complete a space with a ‘Natural style’ mood, aiming to deliver a restful, energizing, and safe living environment.

iloom’s diverse furniture, tailored to fit each family member’s lifestyle, harmoniously blends with LG Hausys’s wide range of interior materials—including windows and doors, flooring, wallpaper, engineered stone, and interior sliding doors—to create a stylish yet creative space. Everything in the space, from the furniture to the materials, can be consulted on and purchased directly on site.

The space consists of the couple’s bedroom, a kids’ room, a living room, a kitchen/dining area, a home office, a balcony café, two bathrooms, a utility room, and an entryway. A distinctive feature is how it embodies spaces reflecting the family’s lifestyle, such as the ‘home office’ for the mother who works as a freelance writer, the ‘balcony garden’ for the plant-loving father, and the kids’ room designed for the child’s dreams and safety.

In particular, the ‘home office’ space focuses on creating a multi-purpose space suitable for both daily life and work by establishing an environment where one can fully concentrate on work at home—reflecting the recent increase in people working from home due to the impact of COVID-19. iloom’s Lo Plus table, Seta Plus bench and chairs, and Glen library were arranged together with LG Hausys’s X-Comfort flooring and slim aluminum interior sliding door to realize an optimal home office space.

The ‘balcony garden’ is a balcony space connected to the home office and decorated as a mini garden. It applies LG Hausys’s DIY deck flooring, Woozen Real Easy, and is arranged alongside iloom’s Rema café cabinet from its home café series, allowing the balcony to also be used as a home café.

iloom stated that it unveiled the ‘iloom·LG Z:IN Model House Showroom’ exhibition space to offer customers total-space consulting—from interior furniture to materials—and to conveniently connect them to product purchases in a one-stop manner, adding that it plans to continue presenting spaces of various concepts together with LG Hausys going forward.
