Korean showroom of premium porcelain big-slab tile manufacturer 'INFINITY'

Ilshin Stone Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Hak-seon), a premium building-materials distributor, announced that on July 7 it opened the Gangnam showroom of the premium Italian tile brand 'INFINITY' on Hakdong-ro in Gangnam-gu and held a related event.
The Italian porcelain big-slab tile manufacturer 'INFINITY' was founded in Fiorano in 1969 and embodies more than 50 years of accumulated technology and design expertise from the Atlas Concorde Group, Italy's largest manufacturer of exterior wall and flooring finishes for architecture and interior design.
INFINITY's Korean showroom, the INFINITY Gangnam showroom, spans approximately 165.2㎡ (about 50 pyeong) and is built around the concept of showcasing premium living spaces finished with Italy's eco-friendly porcelain big slabs. The showroom is arranged into five zones: two kitchen spaces, a bathroom, an information desk, and an art wall. The porcelain tiles used throughout the showroom come in the large 1600×3200㎜ format and are applied in a range of thicknesses, from a compact 6㎜ up to 12㎜ and 20㎜. The INFINITY showroom conveys the very sense of space and beauty that residents can experience when big-slab porcelain tiles are applied to a space, helping consumers understand the products.
Big-slab large-format tiles are thin and lightweight, and with their large dimensions as an advantage they are emerging as a core item in the tile industry. In particular, ultra-high-resolution digital printing makes it possible to realistically reproduce designs such as natural stone, marble, metal, and wood, drawing worldwide attention as an alternative that replaces expensive finite resources. Whereas tiles were once broken down into smaller formats for the sake of installation and transport convenience, the application of large-format and digital printing technologies now makes it possible to reproduce the beautiful patterns of natural stone in their original proportions as products.
INFINITY big-slab tiles are available in glossy and matte finishes, and the matte products can be applied anywhere—including indoor and outdoor floors and walls, as well as furniture. The products are resistant to abrasion, tearing, and scratching, are easy to clean, and are produced at high temperatures to provide perfect waterproofing. No resins or adhesives harmful to the human body are used.
