Icheon plant earns certification in the plastic extrusion molding machine category; participates in the Philippines' 'Worldbex' and 'G-FAIR Korea,' among others
Jaehyun Intex Co., Ltd., which markets 'Jaehyun Haneulchang,' a brand specializing in interior and interior/exterior finishing materials, is drawing attention as it has earned national recognition for its production technology while also participating in domestic and international building-materials fairs to expand its points of contact with buyers and consumers.
Jaehyun Intex announced that this past August its Jaehyun Haneulchang Icheon plant received Root Company certification in the plastic extrusion molding machine category within the injection and press industry sector. Winning this certification firmly established the competitiveness of its proprietary mold and extrusion molding technology, which underpins the basic industry of producing windows/doors and various building materials.
The Root Company program grants certification to companies that operate their business using root technologies designated by presidential decree—next-generation process technologies essential to the future growth and development of manufacturing. Root technologies refer to the foundational process technologies used across manufacturing as a whole, as well as next-generation process technologies essential to the future growth and development of manufacturing, such as injection and press processes, precision machining, robots, and sensors. The government provides preferential benefits to certified Root Companies, including additional points when applying for government support programs and the ability to expand the maximum number of foreign employees by an additional 20% relative to the manufacturing employment permit quota.
Jaehyun Intex is also stepping up promotion of its high-quality Jaehyun Haneulchang products, completed with its proprietary mold and extrusion molding technology. From August 31 to September 3, Jaehyun Intex participated in 'Worldbex 2022,' the Philippines' largest building-materials exhibition, where it presented interior PVC decorative films as well as doors and windows, wall panels, and various interior finishing materials. Worldbex is one of the three largest exhibitions in the Philippines; this year's edition drew more than 700 companies to an exhibition hall totaling 33,000 ㎡ and welcomed some 188,000 visitors. Since the mid-2010s, Jaehyun Intex has been exporting mainly to Asia and the Middle East through government-led overseas market development projects and overseas market development delegations.
In addition, Jaehyun Intex participated in 'G-FAIR KOREA 2022,' held from September 27 to 29 at KINTEX in Ilsan, where it exhibited interior doors, interior wall panels, and moldings & films. Now in its 25th year, G-FAIR Korea is an exhibition of outstanding Korean products hosted by the province and organized by the Gyeonggido Business & Science Accelerator (GBSA). This year, 500 domestic small and medium-sized enterprises took part, and 750 domestic and international buyers with genuine purchasing power visited the exhibition hall.
With interest in frameless 'hidden doors' having risen sharply of late, Jaehyun Intex launched its Jaehyun Haneulchang 'Hidden Door' product, which is drawing an enthusiastic response from consumers. Jaehyun Intex addressed the variability in hidden-door installation quality—which depends on the installer's experience and know-how—by standardizing preset frames that serve as guides, such as PVC hidden door frames and 3D hinges, thereby delivering consistently high-quality hidden doors. In addition, the Jaehyun Haneulchang 'interior partition door (jungmun)' has been redesigned in both structure and materials to enable slim, minimalist designs, boosting consumer satisfaction.
Meanwhile, Jaehyun Intex Co., Ltd. began in 1983 as Daesan Mokjae and became familiar to consumers in 2003 under the 'Jaehyun Haneulchang' brand. While the company had long focused on its door, molding, and interior partition door businesses, it continues to strive tirelessly for consumer satisfaction through product-line expansion, including entering the PVC window/door business in 2015, the AL (aluminum) window/door business in 2021, and the interior film business in 2022. 031-766-8161
