LX Hausys Proposes Interior Keyword 'ME:NIMAL'
Exhibition Space Themed as an 'Unfamiliar Photo Studio' with a Retro Photo Studio Feel

LX Hausys held its experiential pop-up design exhibition 'TRENDSHIP' from March 8 to 17 at 'Cave House,' a dedicated event space located in Itaewon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
Following last year's events in Seongsu-dong and Euljiro, this marked the third TRENDSHIP, held this time in Itaewon. The company's strategy is to steadily expand its points of contact with customers in their 20s and 30s by setting up exhibition spaces in hot spots frequented by younger crowds. Through this event, LX Hausys proposed 'ME:NIMAL'—signifying an individual's inner aspirations and the changes in space that reflect those aspirations—as the core keyword of this year's design trend.
Noting the phenomenon in which people focus more on themselves to overcome anxiety amid rapid changes in the external environment, the company forecast that the 'ME:NIMAL' lifestyle—reflecting an individual's inner values and tastes—will emerge as a major design trend.
This exhibition space was designed under the 'Unfamiliar Photo Studio' concept, inspired by a retro photo studio where visitors could see and experience firsthand the design trends and LX Hausys's key interior products.
At the entrance of the Unfamiliar Photo Studio, visitors could explore old, vintage photo studio-style spaces decorated with LX Hausys's key products and brand history. On the connected first basement level, visitors could experience various set stages showcasing this year's design theme, a virtual reality (VR) hall, and a photo studio darkroom space decorated with interior materials.
In particular, this exhibition featured a program run in partnership with 'Sihyunhada,' a professional profile-photo studio, in which a photographer took one-on-one portraits of visitors, matching them against LX Hausys wallpaper products suited to each visitor as a backdrop—an offering that drew a strong response from attendees. Alongside this, LX Hausys also carried out sales marketing that provided professional interior consultations to visitors interested in remodeling, in connection with nearby locations such as the 'LX Hausys Z:IN Square.'
An LX Hausys official stated, "Going forward, we will continue to propose interior trends that reflect our customers' lifestyles and communicate with customers through various channels," adding, "Through experiential pop-up exhibitions that offer unique experiences in areas well suited to showcasing the latest trend content—such as Seongsu-dong, Euljiro, and Itaewon—we will build a positive brand experience unique to LX Hausys."
