ShinMyung Maru Co., Ltd. (CEO Kwon Hyuk-tae) announced that its Quick-Step products—flooring made with eco-friendly materials and a wide range of functions—have earned numerous global eco-friendly certifications.
The certifications received include EU Ecolabel, M1, PEFC, LEED-points, EPD Available, A+, Nordic Ecolabel, and Floorscore, among others. Of these, the EU Ecolabel is awarded only to products that meet high environmental standards across their entire life cycle—from raw material extraction to production, distribution, in-home use, and end-of-life disposal—proving that Quick-Step products are exceptionally environmentally friendly.
Quick-Step HYBRID products are the world's first to apply Hydro-Seal technology to both the surface and the seams of the flooring, delivering 100% waterproofing. The Uniclic System prevents gaps from forming between planks and provides outstanding dimensional stability. In addition, applying a special Underlay product during installation can dramatically reduce inter-floor noise.
Quick-Step PARQUET products likewise apply the cutting-edge Uniclic and Multifit System to prevent gaps from forming at the seams, and feature Surface & Edge Protect+ Technology and Easy to Clean technology so that contaminants such as mud and chemicals can be easily removed from the surface and seams of the flooring. Furthermore, the world's first Water Repellent surface protection technology on the flooring surface ensures reliable everyday water resistance.
