Following Red Dot and iF, wins the U.S. ‘2022 IDEA Design Award’

‘Studio One’ once again proves its design competitiveness on the world stage

WEYARD and SYSTEM BOOTH, office solutions from Fursys, a company specializing in office environments, have swept the world’s three major design awards to achieve a grand slam.

Fursys’s WEYARD and SYSTEM BOOTH are products that reflect the changing trends in office spaces, and in recognition of their design excellence they received the main award (Finalist) at the U.S. ‘2022 IDEA Design Award.’ With this, they earned the honor of winning at all three of the world’s major design awards—Germany’s iF, Red Dot, and the U.S. IDEA.

Prior to the awards for WEYARD and SYSTEM BOOTH, Fursys had already swept the world’s three major design awards twice with its ‘PLAYWORKS’ and ‘enAble’ series. In addition, through a variety of office solutions it has won at prestigious awards at home and abroad, such as the ‘Japan Good Design Award’ and the ‘Pin Up Design Award,’ proving its design competitiveness.

Designed for hybrid work, WEYARD breaks away from the typical workspace, allowing people to work freely anytime and anywhere, and to create their desired work environment by combining accessories, lighting, and spine frames in various ways. It consists of lounge tables suited to café-style spaces and work tables suitable for office workstations. Through stylish color and material matching and the use of accessories, it creates a rich variety of spatial moods.

SYSTEM BOOTH is designed so that its configuration can be changed to suit various work styles. Using SYSTEM BOOTH, separate independent spaces can be created even in an open-plan office that is not divided into sections, supporting efficient space creation. SYSTEM BOOTH comes in three types: △a cube type (SPOT-C) equipped with both a ceiling and a door, △an open type (SPOT-O) that can be used by connecting multiple modules as needed, and △a phone booth (PHONE BOOTH) optimized for single-person work.

Fursys products, whose design capabilities have been recognized worldwide, are based on STUDIO ONE, Korea’s first furniture research institute.
