Certified at T4 grade as a 2021 Outstanding Technology Capability Company

Manufacturing technology for the ‘IoT Media Automatic Door’ applying ‘New Media Glass’

P2SG GLOBAL Co., Ltd., a company specializing in transparent displays, announced that it has been certified at the T4 grade as a 2021 Outstanding Technology Capability Company by the Tech Credit Bureau (TCB) of Korea Enterprise Data (KED).

Outstanding technology company certification is a certification granted by four government-designated, credible technology credit rating agencies—Korea Technology Finance Corporation (KIBO), Korea Enterprise Data (KED), NICE Credit Rating (NICE), and Ecredible—that comprehensively analyze and evaluate the economic value of a company’s technology, including its technological strength, marketability, business viability, and efficiency, to certify that the company possesses excellent technological competitiveness.

Technology grades are calculated from T1 to T10 and are classified into top-tier technology companies (T1-T2), upper-tier technology companies (T3-T4), and average technology companies (T5-T6). The ‘T4’ grade obtained by P2SG GLOBAL this time corresponds to the top four levels among the ten technology credit rating grades, externally demonstrating its outstanding technological competitiveness.

The technological capability certified for P2SG GLOBAL this time is the manufacturing technology for the ‘IoT Media Automatic Door’ that applies the company’s patented product, ‘New Media Glass (Newnediaglas)’, and it is expected to bring significant change to the existing transparent display market.

The IoT Media Automatic Door is the world’s first patented media automatic door product, capable of displaying information such as customer service, weather, time, and news through a wireless LED glass. In addition, it can present various content depending on the situation, such as digital media art and advertising functions through video.

In an emergency, the IoT Media Automatic Door operates on emergency fire-protection power, and the escape-direction flashing indicator light turns on. The door, which normally operates as a sliding door, changes in an emergency—when the door lock is released—into a swing-out type Panic Autodoor that can be pushed open, allowing the door to open to twice its normal width so that rapid evacuation is possible.

The IoT Media Automatic Door, developed in-house by P2SG GLOBAL, is not only effective in securing new and potential customers by raising attention through various displays, but is also a highly versatile product when linked with security functions and disaster safety management.

Kang Se-hyun, director of P2SG GLOBAL’s R&D Institute, said, “As P2SG GLOBAL has been recognized for its excellent technological capabilities through this technology evaluation, we will accelerate the development of innovative high-tech products and strive even harder to become a company that leads the global market.”
