Expanding its push into the ‘hotel furniture’ market
Collaborating with GLAD Mapo and Yeouido
Hanssem Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Jin-tae) has signed a strategic partnership with lifestyle curator GLAD Hotels & Resorts (CEO Park Myung-shin) and will carry out joint marketing.
Under the partnership, Hanssem has installed Hanssem dining tables and chairs in the guest rooms of the GLAD Houses at GLAD Mapo and GLAD Yeouido. To commemorate the partnership, GLAD Hotel is offering the ‘GLAD Han~ssem’ and ‘GLAD Hanssem House’ packages through February 28.
Under the partnership, Hanssem has installed ‘Bach 701 Incanto Dining Tables’ and ‘Band Dining Chairs’ in a total of 34 GLAD House guest rooms, including 14 rooms at GLAD Mapo and 20 rooms at Yeouido. In the lobbies, the ‘Euro 503 Diago Fabric Armchair’ design chair and the ‘Moa Modular Fabric Sofa’ are additionally installed. At ‘Greets,’ the buffet restaurant of GLAD Yeouido, 140 Hanssem Band Dining Chairs identical to those in the GLAD Hanssem House are placed.
Hanssem and GLAD Hotel are rolling out joint marketing to mark the partnership. First, GLAD Hotel is holding the ‘Hanssem×GLAD Package Name Guessing Event’ through February 29. After following the official Instagram accounts of Hanssem and GLAD Hotel and leaving the correct answer (the package name) as a comment on the event post, a total of 22 people will be selected by drawing to receive a dining voucher for Greets, the restaurant at GLAD Yeouido, and a Hanssem blanket.
Hanssem will present a vintage pedal trash bin to customers who visit the Hanssem Design Park Mapo store with a welcome coupon. Among customers who purchase a dining table and upload a photo of the product to social media with the required hashtags, three will be selected by drawing to receive a standard room stay voucher at GLAD Yeouido.
The collaboration between Hanssem and GLAD Hotel is set to expand going forward. At the end of January, Hanssem will custom-manufacture and supply the furniture in the main building guest rooms of Maison GLAD Jeju, among other wide-ranging collaborations being planned. Furthermore, Hanssem plans to continue its push into the premium hotel market by cooperating with major hotel operators such as Lotte Hotel and KT Estate in the future.
