Expansion of the ‘Hanssem DOMUS Hall’ and ‘Custom Fabric Hall’ broadens the range of premium home-decor choices
Hanssem Co., Ltd., a comprehensive home interior specialist, announced that it has reopened its renovated Hanssem Design Park Nonhyeon store, located on the furniture street in Nonhyeon-dong, Seoul, strengthening its premium product displays by expanding the exhibition area of the ‘Hanssem DOMUS’ hall, its subsidiary that distributes premium imported furniture.
‘Nonhyeon Furniture Street’ is a furniture district that formed as furniture companies gradually gathered there beginning in the early 1970s. Home to domestic furniture brands such as Hanssem as well as high-end overseas furniture, it is known as a ‘premium furniture street.’ Opened on ‘Nonhyeon Furniture Street’ in January 2000, the Hanssem Design Park Nonhyeon store is a one-stop total interior showroom spanning 3,811㎡ (about 1,098 pyeong) across nine floors, from the first basement level to the eighth floor above ground, where customers can find everything from furniture to curtains and blinds and remodeling packages.
Hanssem expanded the 181㎡ (about 55 pyeong) ‘Hanssem DOMUS’ hall, previously located on the fourth floor of the Nonhyeon store, into a 396㎡ (about 120 pyeong) exhibition space on the eighth floor—more than double its former size—and improved the interior to create a premium living room space. A total of 11 living-room sofa zones were arranged, along with a total of six dining table sets on display.
‘Hanssem DOMUS’ is a Hanssem subsidiary that distributes premium overseas furniture such as the German furniture brand ‘KOINOR’ and the Italian sofa brand ‘CALIA.’ Present in Hanssem Design Park stores nationwide, it offers a variety of imported furniture for premium interiors. Among the flagship ‘Hanssem DOMUS’ products on display at the Nonhyeon store are the ‘Toby Wing’ sofa by ‘CALIA’ and the ‘Francis’ sofa by ‘KOINOR.’
△The ‘CALIA Toby Wing’ sofa is a genuine leather sofa produced by ‘CALIA,’ a company with 50 years of history in Italy, and imported into Korea. It features a wide seat cushion with a ‘Swing’ function that allows the backrest to move back and forth. It is offered in the ‘Tortora’ color, a blend of three colors—brown, gray, and violet—and this ‘Tortora’ leather color is supplied by ‘CALIA’ exclusively to ‘Hanssem DOMUS’ under an exclusive agreement. △The ‘KOINOR Francis’ sofa is a genuine leather sofa produced by ‘KOINOR,’ a German premium furniture company with 60 years of tradition. Its open-base design, which provides a sense of visual openness, and its slim metal legs make the living room space appear more spacious. Customers can choose between a three-seater and a couch type to suit the size of their living room.
In addition, the ‘Custom Fabric Hall,’ located on the fourth floor alongside the ‘Hanssem DOMUS’ hall at the Hanssem Design Park Nonhyeon store, was also expanded through this renovation from its previous size of 115㎡ (about 35 pyeong) to a 198㎡ (about 60 pyeong) exhibition space, forming an ‘Imported Blinds Zone’ that showcases a variety of premium blinds, including those of ‘Hunter Douglas,’ a global window-decoration company with 100 years of tradition, and ‘Eurosol,’ a leading Dutch blinds company. Visitors can also experience a ‘Smart Experience Zone,’ where they can try controlling curtains and blinds via a smartphone app.
To celebrate the renovation reopening of the Design Park Nonhyeon store, Hanssem is holding a variety of customer appreciation events through April 17. First, customers who receive an estimate consultation at the Nonhyeon store’s ‘Hanssem DOMUS’ hall and ‘Custom Fabric Hall’ will receive giveaways such as hand cream and diffusers, along with an entry ticket to the ‘Lucky Ball’ raffle event, where they can win prizes including △a Marshall speaker △a robot vacuum △department store gift certificates and △a pot set. In addition, select imported sofas from ‘Hanssem DOMUS’ will be discounted by up to 1.91 million won in limited quantities, and the ‘Custom Fabric’ hall will offer up to 20% off on three popular ‘Hunter Douglas’ blind products.
Kim Yong-ha, Executive Vice President of Hanssem’s Interior Business Division, said, “To celebrate the renovation reopening of the Hanssem Design Park Nonhyeon store, we have prepared a variety of events that offer many benefits to customers visiting the Nonhyeon store,” adding, “We have also improved amenities such as the parking lot and elevators for customer convenience, so we hope you will visit the Hanssem Design Park Nonhyeon store and enjoy a pleasant and convenient total home interior shopping experience.”
