Joins the ‘Web 3.0 Hotel Lounge & Space Trend’ special pavilion

A convergence space combining digital technology and the latest new-material technology

Hansol Homedeco (CEO Kim Kyung-rok), a Korean company specializing in eco-friendly building materials and interiors, took part in the ‘2023 Hotel Fair’ held over three days, from January 11 to 13, at COEX in Seoul.

The Hotel Fair is an event organized by Messe Esang and Hotel Avia, an exhibition where visitors can gauge the latest trends in the hospitality industry.

The ‘Web 3.0 Hotel Lounge & Space Trend’ special pavilion unveiled at this Hotel Fair was a space jointly created by four brands—Hansol Homedeco, KASTR, Hankook Furniture, and Seraphim Company—staged under the ‘ONFFLINE’ concept, a harmonious blend of online and offline. The pavilion reorganized the hotel lounge into an online-offline convergence space that combines new digital technology with the latest eco-friendly new-material technology, earning praise for delivering a top-tier hotel lounge experience that reflected the new competitive landscape, technologies, and consumer tastes emerging in 2023.

In particular, at this pavilion Hansol Homedeco showcased a range of its products through the integration of distinctive interior space designs armed with new methods and materials that further reinforce safety and eco-friendliness. These included ‘Wellstone,’ a semi-non-combustible stone panel made of inorganic rock wool; ‘sb Maru,’ which not only offers Super-E0 grade eco-friendliness but also features a water-resistant sb core material that is strong against moisture and impact; ‘Sinus Glass,’ a premium patterned glass that bonds PET material to glass; and ‘Story Board,’ a high-quality furniture material bonded with an eco-friendly surface material.

This pavilion aimed to demonstrate how Web 3.0, the hottest technology of the moment, can be applied to hotel lounges and various other spaces to enable new approaches, while also showing that the dignity and individuality of a space can come to life when interior materials and premium furniture are brought into harmony.

Park Byung-seok, a team leader at Hansol Homedeco, said, “Participating in this Hotel Fair, we are presenting our flagship products to buyers in hotel-related construction and interiors, and it will be a great opportunity to generate new business,” adding, “We will continue to lead the interior building-materials market as the leader in Hansol Homedeco’s own distinctive space trends.”
