Promotional Push Rolls Out Through the Hansol SB Maru Viral Campaign Video
Revealing the True Meaning of ‘the Floor’ Through a Twist-Filled Storyline
Hansol Homdeco (CEO Kim Kyung-rok), a company leading Korea’s interior design industry, has launched a full-fledged promotional campaign with the release of ‘The Secret of the Floor 2,’ its second viral video following the ‘The Secret of the Floor’ viral campaign clip unveiled this past June.
‘The Secret of the Floor 2’ centers on the employee who delighted viewers in the epilogue of the previous ‘The Secret of the Floor’ video, along with the mother he was speaking to on the phone, who now appears as the owner of a popular restaurant, humorously unraveling the absurd situations she experiences with customers at her eatery through a series of twist-based interpretations. From the very first customer to the delivery ratings, everything is described as ‘totally rock bottom (‘the floor’)!’, leaving the owner flustered and increasingly emotional—until the hidden meaning of ‘the floor’ is later revealed, bringing the story to a surprising, twist-filled conclusion.
A Hansol Homdeco official said, “Our first viral video, ‘The Secret of the Floor,’ reached nearly 300,000 views within just one month of its release, achieving successful results in establishing Hansol SB Maru as the finest ‘floor,’” adding, “In the newly released ‘The Secret of the Floor 2,’ the story of the characters from the first installment continues, once again conveying the true meaning of ‘the floor’ through the fun of a twist.” The official also noted, “While it likewise reinterprets Hansol SB Maru—with its outstanding advantages—as ‘the floor’ in its finest sense, the key point of this installment is that the emotions build and the story unfolds through the characters in a distinctive setting: a popular restaurant.”
The Hansol SB Maru featured in the video is a laminate-reinforced hardwood floor (gang-maru) that strengthens the water resistance and durability that are weaknesses of wooden flooring. Even when water seeps onto the surface, it undergoes almost no deformation and is highly resistant to dents and pressure marks. In particular, when defects arise from dents or scratches, only the damaged section of the flooring surface can be replaced, allowing for quick and convenient repairs. In addition, it uses Super-E0 materials—Korea’s highest eco-friendly grade—and, being free of chemical components such as toluene, xylene, methylene, and styrene, it has earned a recommendation from the atopy association and obtained top-grade certification for mold resistance, making it a flooring material sought after by many consumers.
SB Stone, a newly launched line within the Hansol SB Maru range, is a wooden floor that retains the patterns and textures of marble while remedying its drawbacks—such as cracking, hardness, coldness, and slipperiness—and, through enhanced water resistance, undergoes almost no deformation even with prolonged moisture. Expressed through the patterns, textures, and embossing of diverse materials such as marble, terrazzo, and sandstone, it is available in a total of 14 varied patterns and colors, allowing you to create a wide range of atmospheres throughout the home.
