Shinmyung Maru's eco-friendly flooring
Exhibition held in the company's in-house space
Shinmyung Maru showcased its Quick-Step products at two Haeahn Architecture locations—the main building and the annex—for about two weeks starting December 11.
Haeahn Architecture, which is establishing itself as a leading architectural firm that designs urban environments by proposing core solutions for projects according to their development plans and scale, holds in-house exhibitions limited to verified products so that its executives and staff can encounter a variety of eco-friendly building materials and confirm their excellence firsthand.
Quick-Step is a Belgian eco-friendly flooring exclusively imported and distributed by Shinmyung Maru. It is a global flooring product that combines a range of functionalities evaluated as going beyond the limits of conventional flooring, durability that allows it to be used without issue not only in ordinary residential spaces but also in commercial spaces where large numbers of people come and go, and the eco-friendliness that has recently been drawing the attention of many architectural firms.
This exhibition featured Quick-Step flooring products imported by Shinmyung Maru, including the 100% waterproof Hybrid, the new Alpha Vinyl (LVT), and parquet solid-wood flooring that offsets the drawbacks of solid wood while being easy to maintain. Visitors could also view videos on the functionality of each product as well as a variety of eco-friendly certification materials.
Quick-Step flooring has excellent surface strength, so it does not easily sustain damage even when large numbers of people pass through, such as in hotels and commercial spaces, giving it a broad range of applications. In addition, it employs a patented technology called UNICOAT that makes even the seams of the flooring waterproof, making it useful for upkeep and maintenance.
