Proving quality competitiveness with the residential Soop (Forest) flooring series and premium windows
Officially recommended product certification granted through expert evaluation
‘HomeCC Flooring’ and ‘HomeCC Windows,’ the interior specialty brands operated by KCC Glass (CEO Kim Nae-hwan), have received the officially recommended product certification from the Korea Society of Interior Designers (KOSID), an incorporated association.
The Korea Society of Interior Designers is a non-profit corporation under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, founded in 1979, that contributes to the advancement of Korea’s interior architecture culture. To introduce outstanding interior products, help consumers make the right product choices, and contribute to the development of the interior industry, the association grants officially recommended product certification to interior products of exceptional quality through expert evaluation.
The flagship product among the newly certified HomeCC flooring lines is the residential ‘Soop (Forest) Series.’ This product has continued to win consumers’ affection, taking first place for 12 consecutive years in the ‘2021 Korea Quality Excellence Index (KS-QEI)’ hosted by the Korean Standards Association, and first place for 6 consecutive years in the household flooring category of the ‘2021 Korea Brand Power Index (K-BPI)’ hosted by the Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC). Featuring a highly elastic cushion layer, the ‘Soop Series’ offers excellent underfoot comfort and, being more resistant to moisture than hardwood flooring, suffers less damage and deformation. In particular, by adding hinoki cypress oil to the flooring, it became the industry’s first product to earn the Korea Atopy Association recommended product mark, drawing attention as a product designed with consumers’ health in mind.
‘Soop Hyugaon,’ one of the Soop Series products, is a premium flooring that faithfully reproduces the feel of natural materials such as marble, stone, and solid wood, delivering a luxurious look along with outstanding underfoot comfort and reduction of everyday noise. ‘Soop Dodam,’ released last year, became the first product in the PVC flooring industry to obtain the ‘Pet Product Safety Certification (PS Certification),’ making it a flooring designed with the safety of not only children but also pets in mind.
In addition, ‘HomeCC Windows,’ the other certified product, is a premium window featuring a sophisticated design and made exclusively with high-quality domestic raw materials. The entire process—from fabrication and installation to after-sales service—is managed directly by the head office, and the product offers the industry’s longest quality warranty of up to 13 years. In particular, ‘HomeCC Windows’ can be installed in a single day thanks to pre-assembled raw and auxiliary materials, and boasts excellent performance, a variety of functions, and a refined design. Furthermore, KCC Glass’s high-insulation special coating ‘Low-E glass’ applied to ‘HomeCC Windows’ offers superior heat-blocking effects that reduce energy use and cut heating and cooling costs, while its high reflectivity also provides excellent privacy protection from the outside.
A HomeCC official said, “By obtaining the officially recommended product certification from the Korea Society of Interior Designers, HomeCC’s distinctive quality competitiveness has once again been proven,” adding, “Going forward, we plan to continue our efforts to contribute to the development of the domestic interior industry and to enhance consumer rights by developing products that combine convenience, safety, and eco-friendliness.” 1588-9894
