Eighth consecutive year at No. 1, topping every category of the brand awareness survey
Showcased the excellence of its flooring products to acclaim at North America's largest flooring exhibition
HomeCC Interior flooring from KCC Glass (CEO Kim Nae-hwan) has been named No. 1 in the residential flooring category for the eighth consecutive year in the '2023 Korea Brand Power Index (K-BPI)' survey conducted by the Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC).
Now in its 25th year, the Korea Brand Power Index is one of Korea's leading brand evaluation benchmarks, a system that quantifies and evaluates the competitiveness of brands across major domestic industries through consumer surveys.
In this evaluation, HomeCC Interior flooring earned the industry's highest scores in every 'brand awareness survey' category — top-of-mind awareness, unaided awareness, and aided awareness — beating out numerous competing brands to claim the No. 1 spot for the eighth year running, once again proving itself the most recognized flooring brand in Korea.
HomeCC Interior is leading Korea's flooring market by successively launching high-performance products that reflect increasingly diverse lifestyles and consumer demands, built on the advanced technological expertise that KCC Glass — a leading Korean building-materials specialist — has accumulated over nearly 30 years in the flooring field.
Recently, as the number of households raising pets has grown, the company renewed and relaunched 'Soop Dodam,' a PVC flooring product that was the first in the industry to obtain 'Pet Safety (PS) Certification,' and it also significantly enhanced the design of 'Sensetile Pro,' a luxury vinyl tile (LVT) flooring, in line with the premiumization of Korea's flooring market.
'Soop Dodam' is offered in thicknesses of 2.7 mm and 3.2 mm and comes in a total of 18 diverse design patterns, allowing spaces to be styled to suit consumer tastes. As distinctive designs using natural materials have recently grown popular, the renewed product reflects this trend with the addition of six new pattern designs. The new patterns realize the feel of natural materials such as stone and solid wood even more realistically through synchronized embossing technology and dimensional 3D design.
This past February, at 'TISE 2023 (The International Surface Event 2023),' North America's largest flooring exhibition, the company introduced the excellence of Korean flooring products — which have developed alongside the country's ondol (underfloor heating) culture — to the carpet-centered North American flooring market, earning favorable reviews.
A KCC Glass official said, "We believe this selection as No. 1 in the Korea Brand Power Index for the eighth consecutive year is a result of HomeCC Interior's continuous efforts to provide customers with faith and trust being highly regarded," adding, "Building on the solid trust of our domestic customers, we will continue to showcase outstanding-quality flooring in overseas markets as well, striving to establish ourselves as a leading brand that spreads K-Interior worldwide."
Meanwhile, HomeCC Interior flooring was also named No. 1 in the PVC flooring category for the 13th consecutive year in the '2022 Korea Standard Quality Excellence Index (KS-QEI)' conducted by the Korean Standards Association (KSA) last year, earning recognition for its high quality from experts and consumers alike.
