Aimed at discovering talent in the interior sector and promoting industry development

Open to undergraduate and graduate students from October 25 to December 24

‘HomeCC Mall,’ the official online mall of ‘HomeCC,’ the interior specialty brand of KCC Glass (CEO Kim Nae-hwan), is recruiting participants for the ‘1st HomeCC Interior Design Competition.’

HomeCC Mall’s competition has been organized to discover talent with the ability and potential in the field of interior design and to help them advance into related fields going forward, thereby promoting the development of the interior industry.

The competition is open to undergraduate and graduate students, and entries can be submitted from October 25 to December 24. The competition themes are △residential space design reflecting 2022 trends and △residential space design utilizing HomeCC Mall products.

To enter the competition, participants download the entry form file from HomeCC Mall, complete it, and submit it along with their idea design file. The design file must be submitted as a PDF or PPT and must be under 25MB in size. After submitting by email, participants complete their entry by uploading the submitted image and description to the gallery space within the HomeCC Mall showroom.

The judging criteria for this competition are theme suitability (20%), originality/aesthetics (40%), brand understanding (20%), and feasibility (20%), and a total of seven participants who meet these criteria will be selected and awarded. The awards are as follows: △Grand Prize (1 person), a certificate and 2 million won in prize money; △Best Award (1 person), a certificate and 1 million won in prize money; △Excellence Award (2 people), a certificate and 500,000 won in prize money; and △Encouragement Award (3 people), a certificate and 200,000 won in prize money.

A HomeCC official said, “HomeCC has been continuously working to contribute to the development of the interior industry and to present better residential environments by adding value to spaces,” adding, “We hope for the active interest and enthusiastic participation of future designers in this interior design competition.”
