Participates in the ‘2022 Korea Machinery & Equipment Exhibition’ in May
Introduces new products tailored to the characteristics of each space, including entryways and kitchens
Hempel (CEO Kim Jung-hwan), a company specializing in ventilation appliances, took part in the ‘Korea Machinery & Equipment Exhibition’ held over three days from May 18 to 20 at the SETEC exhibition hall in Seoul, where it showcased an extensive lineup of its 2022 ventilation appliances.
Through Korea's only comprehensive machinery and equipment exhibition, where visitors can encounter new products and technologies in the machinery and equipment field, Hempel unveiled new ventilation appliances capable of comfortably managing every indoor space, accelerating its push into the ventilation market.
At this exhibition, Hempel presented ventilation appliances tailored to the characteristics of each space—such as the entryway, kitchen, dressing room, and living room—to address springtime fine dust, pine pollen, and indoor hazardous substances.
First, the ‘Entryway Cleaning System,’ which combines a dual air cleaner with an air purifier, is a product equipped with fine dust blocking and air purification functions to maintain comfortable indoor air quality at the entryway, where people frequently come and go. Pollutants clinging to clothing can be easily brushed off with the dual air gun & brush, whose strength can be adjusted, while the ceiling-mounted air purifier—maximizing space efficiency—quickly removes the dislodged fine dust and pollutants.
Hempel also exhibited ‘Hureo,’ a low-noise kitchen hood suited to kitchens, where large amounts of fine dust are generated during cooking. Hureo is a product certified as a constant-airflow range hood, and its BLDC motor delivers high efficiency and low noise. Its quiet operation, comparable to the noise level of a library, is another advantage.
Another of Hempel's new products, ‘Humir,’ enables meticulous humidity management through its automatic operation function. In particular, the 2022 model can maintain humidity optimized for the dressing room, creating an ideal environment for garment care.
In addition, using the machinery and equipment exhibition as a starting point, Hempel is expanding its lineup of residential ventilation systems and bathroom ventilation appliances. It is introducing the Huven S Plus, which applies LED technology that makes it easy to check indoor air quality conditions, as well as Hugente, available in four colors to create a distinctive bathroom atmosphere targeting demand for ‘colorterior.’ Hempel's new Huven S Plus and Hugente products are scheduled for release within the first half of this year.
A Hempel official said, “As a culture of desiring comfortable and safe indoor spaces takes hold in decisions such as apartment option selection or interior remodeling, demand for products that can effectively manage indoor air quality is steadily increasing,” adding, “In line with this, we will introduce new products incorporating Hempel's differentiated ‘ventilation technology’ to satisfy customer needs and actively advance into the ventilation appliance market.”
