New design names drawn from planets set them apart from existing designs

homeCC Interior, the interior specialty brand of KCC Glass (CEO Kim Nae-hwan), is renewing its 'Senstone Quartz' series and setting out to capture the premium interior stone market.

homeCC Interior's 'Senstone Quartz' is an 'engineered stone' made primarily from natural quartz. Containing more than 90% high-quality quartz, it is a premium finishing material that vividly reproduces the texture and color of natural stone while greatly enhancing strength and durability. In addition, its very low water absorption rate keeps food stains from forming easily, and its outstanding resistance to bacterial growth makes it well suited for kitchen walls, countertops, bathrooms, and other spaces that require hygienic upkeep. In keeping with the recent trend toward more upscale interiors, 'Senstone Quartz' has been adopted one after another at the reconstruction sites of premium-brand apartments thanks to its refined design and high quality.

homeCC Interior's 'Senstone Quartz' comprises three design types in total: ▲ 'Deluxe,' a chip design that uses coarse quartz to express the lively cut surface of stone; ▲ 'Premium,' a short-vein design that renders stone's inherently sophisticated wave patterns in a calm, delicate manner; and ▲ 'Luxury,' a long-vein design that faithfully carries over the grand, luxurious wave patterns unique to large-format stone. In particular, through this renewal 'Senstone Quartz' has been newly composed with a total of 54 diverse designs, with 12 new designs added—including the long-vein type that has recently established itself as a global trend. A distinctive feature of the newly added designs is that each is named after a planet to set it apart from existing designs: ▲ 'Mercury,' a chip design type; ▲ 'Mars,' a short-vein design type; and ▲ 'Pluto,' a long-vein design type.
